I hope this information helps a lot for players that haven’t had the chance to play Beta and gives you an idea of what you should be trying to accomplish your first 2 weeks of BFA. If you plan on pulling all-nighters, please don’t be reckless and over strain yourself. People have died from lack of sleep. If you want some tips on staying up I recommend taking a nap before launch time, eating a healthy meal full of protein before launch, snacking on fruit and nuts (my personal go to is clementine oranges and almonds) while leveling, if you do decide to drink energy drinks I do recommend not getting the ones packed with sugar (I prefer no sugar no carb Redbull and G-Fuel) and making sure you drink at least 2 bottles of water in between every energy drink so you stay hydrated and don’t crash. A good time to get some sleep is after you finish all the questing and you are 120 which again will take average played 10+ hours. Again, please don’t be stupid and end up hurting yourself over a video game; everyone must sleep at some point, so you won’t be too behind the curve.
Professions: This may seem strange for a leveling guide, but the first opportunity you get, pick up both the Mining and Herbalism gathering professions. Not only will this allow you to track many various quest objectives on your map, but you also get a fair amount of experience whenever you gather. I'd put it at around 10% of a quest turn-in per gather. Since most of your wasted time in WoW is travel time, stopping to gather ore or herbs can keep your exp/h rolling as long as you don't go too far out of your way. You should only gather if it's convenient, and on the way to an actual quest objective. Don't make gathering your priority.
Again it breaks down to personal preference. I didn’t have an issue doing them at 120 on the toons I did them on. I felt like they took you out of the way when I just wanted to finish the zones. Too each his own. I liked it because I would finish the quest then be right there at the hubs for the quest on the new continent after I’ve finished all the quest on the first continent.
Leveling in WoW is pretty linear and easy compared to most other Mmorpgs, and the in game quest mechanics makes the leveling process pretty fast. Our WoW Leveling Guide is the best and quickest free leveling guide for WoW. Just start in your race starting zone and make your way to new level appropriate zones as you level up. This guide won’t go in depth on exactly what quest to do when, but you really don’t need anything like that in WoW anymore. However it will take you through leveling all the way from level 1 to level 90. From Classic WoW, Through the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

There are several reasons why this may have happened. First, only a fraction of the players who interact with the auction house buy or sell WoW Tokens. While the value of both gold and commodities plunged relative to real money, the value of gold and commodities remained steady relative to each other. Players who didn’t interact with the Token market could buy the same number of flasks by doing the same amount of world quests, or selling the same number of gems or enchantments, so these sellers saw no reason to raise their prices.

Auto looting a mob will increase leveling speed for the expansion. to enable it = Esc, Interface, Controls, Enable Auto Loot. I'm including this because sometimes the simple things are missed. I, sadly, went 3/4 of the way through WoD not knowing that hitting the space bar for my mission tables is much MUCH faster than waiting it out. (i never claimed to be smart OKAY) =P

Incorporating an accelerated leveling pace is *definitely* something we want to incorporate in to the new addon My hope is to allow an option for you to set yourself to one or two higher speeds, where the guide will skip some steps along the way. The steps will have a special tag that lets the addon know to skip them if the person has that setting enabled.

I found that in most cases, I could pick the zones I liked and skip everything else. It was slower, but I still wasn't forced to do quest zones I hated (and, notably, I skipped the entire Cataclysm expansion's content -- sorry, Thrall.) I did do dungeons, both in group finder and by two-boxing (more on that in a moment as well), but only once for the quests, and mostly to clear what felt like an awfully long slog from 40 to level 80.
Anyway both got to 110 at around 50h played. I messed up with my Pal by going to Legion once I hit 100 instead of finishing treasures and bonuses in WoD. All in all, if I picked the best zones and was only trying to level as fast as I could, I would probably could have done it in roughly 40h. Note that it would have a been A LOT faster with a Monk as both Ret and Rogues don't really have a decent AoE until 40+ (45 for Ret and 63 for Rogue I believe). The daily also helps a lot. I know that leveling my Monk before the pre-patch was insanely fast. Might be slower with the changes to FoF, however.

Though related, this is no longer true. You can now purchase a lvl 90 character boost. Some power levelers have hoped for a day when you could use real money to buy individual items in-game, some times called "micro-transactions." At a Game Developers Conference 2008, Rob Pardo gave a strong indication, Blizzard would not ever go this route with World of Warcraft.
Quests from the Tortollans, a race of turtle people, can be mind-numbingly dumb and slow. One of the standards that you'll see is one of those matching games arranged in a grid where you can only turn over two items at once to see if they match. Another, and the worst of all the quests I've done in 13 years with World of Warcraft, is a turtle "maze" where you slowly guide a slow-ass turtle through a slow-ass grid for seemingly no reason other than to get a reward at the end.
Gold for riding training. Travel time is a SIGNIFICANT time sink while using quests to level. You don't want to wait to get it. In fact, while questing, the second you ding 40/60/70/80 you'll want to hearth and train it IMMEDIATELY! 10304 gold is the base cost, which will be modified by reputation. Also, make sure you're in a guild with the 10% riding speed bonus unless you're a class that already gets a mount-speed buff.
Since the Battle for Azeroth was released in mid-August, it has received both possive and passive voice. Actually, bugs and issues are there and Blizzard keeps making further improvements. And patch 8.1 show some of Blizzard's sincerity. It brings the faction war back into focus and some big improvements to core systems are coming along too. This is also the reason why when I read in WoW forums of people skipping guide sections, due to being too low level I'm not agree and start ranting about it: it'll be a mess syncronizing with the guide and I've seen many people complaining about missing quests or accusing the guide for being innacurate, but not realizing that was their fault since they're skipping and missing a lot of quest chain requirement. Of course this apply if you're following a guide, believe me, it's very frustrating when you remain stuck in a guide section due to the reasons I've mentioned, more than doing grey quests (but they allow to be perfectly in sync with the guide) and goiing here and there to get the pre-requisite quests.

At Level 100, we recommend that you take the talent Unholy Frenzy. If you choose to take this talent over the other 2 options, then we recommend switching your Level 57 talent to Bursting Sores due to the great AoE synergy between these 2 talents. If you choose to use the talent Army of the Damned, which is an easier talent to play with, then we recommend staying with the Level 57 talent Ebon Fever.
This gold making advice is applicable to most players, except if you are an enchanter, in which case there is a very strong case to turn them into dust and essence for your profession needs. As an advanced tip, you can explore the use of mobile apps that let you post on the auction house at the right time because the price of greens tends to fluctuate rapidly, and could mean a large loss of potential gold income.
The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides. My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first. I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster. I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP. I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker. I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow. For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways. Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.

Prices fluctuated so much because nobody knows what a WoW Token is worth now. Since the WoW Token interface also doesn’t let you know how many tokens are actually for sale at any given time, it’s unclear whether buyers and sellers are rushing into and out of the market at different price points, or whether a single gold-rich buyer using a low point as an opportunity to liquidate can send the price skyrocketing.
For the 2nd week of BFA, M+, Raids, and Rated PvP are still not open so there isn’t that much that you have to do. Do your Island Expos to level up your Heart of Azeroth, do WQs for rewards, do Warfronts and the 11 weekly quest turn ins, and run your Mythic Dungeons again to try to get the most gear before reset. I personally will be spending a lot of Week 2 farming mats for consumables for M+ and Raids but whatever you choose to do is up to you.
Heirlooms are special pieces of armor that level up with your character, so they have stats that are always respectable for your character’s level (up to level 110). Heirlooms that fit the head, shoulder, chest, legs, and back armor slot offer an experience bonus. The total bonus is 45 percent if you have them all. It’s also possible to acquire a ring that adds another 5 percent, but you must win a fishing contest acquire it, and that can take some time.
Stormheim is the zone you want to start it. For some reason Legion treasures are not worth any experience like they are in WoD...except in Stormheim. I haven't been able to find out any reason for this, and it's possible it may get fixed/nerfed at a later date. But for the time being you REALLY want to jump from treasure to treasure to augment your quest experience.
If the new Battle.net balance has given rich players a new incentive to liquidate, and the spiking prices are a result of them trying to sell all their gold at once? Prices for tokens could settle much lower once that stash of gold has been depleted. This seems likely, because there’s a compelling new reason to sell gold, but no new reason to buy it. Blizzard has a good way to drain those gold reserves from the market.
I'm with that guy, I'll probably pick whichever zone I want and not follow a set path for the questing experience itself (like the part about not picking up the treasures, if I see a shiny I'm going for it lol), but I'll come back to this post for the gearing/rep-gain stuff. In addition to questing and running dungeons in the Broken Isles, players should also remember to visit their class hall, which is like the garrisons from Draenor, but themed around your character’s class.The quest lines in your hall provide valuable experience and open up important features, like artifact weapon upgrades, that will drastically up your character’s power.
In recent weeks, players have been giving Blizzard an earful concerning experience gains and leveling in World of Warcraft. It looks like a couple of issues are at the heart of these problems, including time to kill certain baddies and the time it takes to level up between levels 60 and 80. While Blizzard is still trying to figure out why some baddies are taking too long to kill, the hope is that a hotfix launched this week will address the problem of leveling.
I had multiple people ask me why I didn’t do blood or prot for leveling on DK/Pally and the god honest truth is the fact that I know how to play ret and unholy quite well and the limits of the class. I tried leveling as prot and good Christ it felt like I did no damage. If you take selfless healer and wake of ashes you should have 0 issues with leveling as Ret and it is significantly faster. As for Unholy if you take grip of the dead to kite a little, deathpact for healing, and keep up with your Dark Succor (spelling?) procs you will have no issues. I died once as DK and none as pally. The only classes I struggled with a little was WW and Shaman. WW because the aoe felt under-tuned at the time and shaman because they are trash imho.
War Mode, enabled and disabled in Stormwind, gives 15% bonus experience for quests and kills in any zone. whether you're a fan of pvp or not, this might be smart to turn on as Alliance starts on Kul'Tiras and the Horde are on Zandalar. Most horde are going to only be on our island for max level world quests. If you dont like PvP, my advice would be to turn Warmode on for the first few levels, then disable it around 112.
Take breaks. Unless you're straight up no-lifing it over a weekend or something, this leveling process is going to take ~40 hours. But any time you do need to step away, log out. That tiny little bit of rested exp is insignificant...but you never know when something might come up and you'll have to leave for a longer period of time than you expected. Better to be logged out and safe(especially with War Mode on) than AFK waiting for a d/c. Plus, you'll need to stretch, eat, shower, and maybe sleep. XD
