Auto looting a mob will increase leveling speed for the expansion. to enable it = Esc, Interface, Controls, Enable Auto Loot. I'm including this because sometimes the simple things are missed. I, sadly, went 3/4 of the way through WoD not knowing that hitting the space bar for my mission tables is much MUCH faster than waiting it out. (i never claimed to be smart OKAY) =P
I just decided that I would simply finish leveling my hunter the hard way, but when i can get heirlooms ill make a warrior and follow your guide to 80. I definitly want an 80 warrior for cataclysm... seeing as worgen warrior is going to be a crazy tank! By the way, is using heirlooms with your guides ok? And what class should I be for a tank? I will obviously be switching to worgen anyway but i would prefer best tanking until then. Thanks Jame!

Certain locations in World of Warcraft – primarily inns, capital cities, and private instanced zones like your garrison or class order hall – are rest areas. You know you’ve entered one because your character portrait will gain a “Zzz” icon where your level is normally shown, and because you can immediately log out of the game instead of waiting 20 seconds.
Do quests and complete the story of your first chosen area before returning to your capital to scrap all of the equipment items you acquired. You should be around Level 113 by the time you complete your first area. Before selecting your second zone, head to your faction hub ship to acquire your introductory quests to the mission table and your champions. Complete this introduction and then pick up the quest to establish your first foothold in enemy territory.

Edit 20 It’s been a week since this post and a lot of people are still reaching out to me with questions which is fine. I have had a few different people reach out to me to help make YouTube videos based off this guide and more info in BFA which I’m more than willing to do. Whoever gets the videos up first I will link them here for you guys to enjoy.

Island Expeditions are a new idea that digs into the island vibe brought in by Battle for Azeroth and allows players to team up in groups of three to venture out onto various islands to gather all-important Azerite while fighting against enemies on the island and completing quests. The twist is that Island Expeditions are also a race against the opposite faction — whether it's three AI characters or three real players is up to you — but you may have to do a little player vs. player (or fake PvP) if you happen to run into them.
Though related, this is no longer true. You can now purchase a lvl 90 character boost. Some power levelers have hoped for a day when you could use real money to buy individual items in-game, some times called "micro-transactions." At a Game Developers Conference 2008, Rob Pardo gave a strong indication, Blizzard would not ever go this route with World of Warcraft.
The zones in Battle for Azeroth are littered with treasures and rare spawns that give the same amount of XP as quests. With Zygor's Leveling guide these points of interest are displayed directly on your map and can be clicked at anytime to add them underneath your current guide step. The guide will then switch focus to the POI, direct you to its completion, and tell you how to complete it.
Elixirs serve the same purpose as Flasks, but the buff expires if you die. You'll only use these between 1-70, generally speaking, until you can start buying Flasks which persist through death. Try not to die, and carry extras just in case. If you can't find an Elixir with the stat you want, look under scrolls, since they count as battle or guardian buffs as well.
Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley are both fairly similar zones, but Stormsong is a little longer, meaning that you might not even have to finish it to hit 120. Tiragarde also comes with a bit of a warning. There are plenty of side quests to do in the zone after you finish the story quests. Don’t do them. It’s not worth the time or the experience you’ll get.
He then added, "There is another issue tangentially related to this discussion that I also would like to address: Many feel that it takes too long to level in the 60-80 range in particular, and that the combat pacing issues discussed here are just a piece of that larger problem. We agree – currently players are taking about 15% longer per level, on average, in that range as compared to before 60 or after 80. We’re in the process of assembling a set of changes that will smooth out the experience curve at level 60 and beyond, reducing the experience requirements for those levels."
