Something to keep in mind as well is that this will make enchanting materials more valuable, since it is likely most players will now simply scrap their boe greens instead of getting them disenchanted. Also redundant dungeon/raid gear can be scrapped rather than traded to the (guild) enchanter in the run. Less stuff gets disenchanted, meaning there will be less ecnhanting materials, meaning their value will rise. All the more reason to DE rather than scrap as an ecnhanter.
Most BfA Alchemy recipes have 3 ranks. Rank 2 reduce the materials required to create a recipe, and Rank 3 have a chance to create multiple potions/flask etc. Higher rank recipes also give skill points much longer, so it will be a lot cheaper to level Alchemy if you first get Revered with the new BfA factions, because you can use cheaper recipes for longer.
The zone you start in isn't under your control, in as much as it's pre-selected for you based on your race. But for leveling purposes we want to make scaling work for us as much as possible. That means sticking to the lower level zones. Even though scaling will increase the level of the quests and mobs in those zones, the layout and design of them is built for a player with no mount. So you'll blaze through them and gain more exp/hour than higher level zones which assume you DO have a mount.
In recent weeks, players have been giving Blizzard an earful concerning experience gains and leveling in World of Warcraft. It looks like a couple of issues are at the heart of these problems, including time to kill certain baddies and the time it takes to level up between levels 60 and 80. While Blizzard is still trying to figure out why some baddies are taking too long to kill, the hope is that a hotfix launched this week will address the problem of leveling.

It’s a bit more expensive than the other options, but I’d say it’s definitely worth it.

Ive seen a bunch of leveling guides but most of them are made for people who already have a max level character and can be confusing. The recruit also grants the recruiter levels, with the latter gaining one level for every two levels the recruit gains. There are a lot of rules and restrictions to that, however. It all basically boils down to leveling alternate characters together. The recruiter can even earn epic mounts and battle pets if you stick with the game for a couple months.

Certain locations in World of Warcraft – primarily inns, capital cities, and private instanced zones like your garrison or class order hall – are rest areas. You know you’ve entered one because your character portrait will gain a “Zzz” icon where your level is normally shown, and because you can immediately log out of the game instead of waiting 20 seconds.
To put that in perspective, the high-priced vanity mount released with Legion is a giant spider called the Bloodfang Widow. It costs 2 million gold. If you wanted to buy one with cash, using WoW tokens, it would have cost over $1,100 at the time Legion was released, in August 2016. If you wanted to do the same thing in July 2018, it would have cost less than $200.
It's not an enchantment, but you should buy or craft an iLVL 100+ belt, gloves, or boots with a gem socket for use with the new 5% bonus experience gem: Insightful Rubellite. I used a vendor-bought belt from the legacy valor vendor in Orgrimmar, since it was convenient and met the minimum ilvl bonus. Keep these in your bags until you can equip them, which should be just in time for treasure collections in WoD content. I didn't ever replace the belt until I dinged 110, since I didn't feel the stats from later upgraded belt drops made enough of a difference to outweigh the 5% bonus. This is explained below, in the WoD treasure section.
At 96 the standard wisdom is to immediately drop what you're doing and proceed to Spires of Arak and do the quests to unlock the Inn, granting a further 20% experience bonus while in that zone. You'll want to do that eventually anyway, but I'm not sure it outweighs the quest experience from Gorgrond. However, if you decided to go to Spires immediately at 96, restrict yourself only to bonus objectives and again leave Treasures until you're 100+. Make certain that when you being the quests to unlock the inn, you speak with the quest NPC to also learn Archaeology, since it's required to collect several of the treasures in Spires.
There are also numerous gold-making guides available for World of Warcraft players. Currently mmobux recommends Killer Guides' World of Warcraft Gold Guide, which covers a broad range from daily quests and professions to making gold while leveling and auction house trading. 'Standard' farming spots are covered as well, making it an interesting resource for bots as well. Yielding up to 500 gold per hour, the strategies are suitable for players of all skill levels. If Killer Guides keeps the guide up to date, it probably will become a valuable resource for professional farmers as well. First up we have patch 7.3.5, which was implemented several months ago as a major shakeup to how leveling was approached. Fish, meanwhile, were significantly devalued by the Underlight Angler, an artifact-quality Legion fishing pole that made fishing so productive that a very small number of fishermen could supply an entire server with materials for cooking. At current rates, fishing in Battle for Azeroth is more time-consuming, which means less food to go around, and higher prices at the auction house. Of course, Blizzard could change spawn rates in a future patch, but as of now, signs point to an economy in which common necessities will be much more scarce.
Although WoW currency can be found through quests, fallen enemies or the dreaded "farming" process, doing it the conventional way is time-consuming. Considering the upcoming release of the Legion expansion pack in August of 2016, stocking up on gold is more important than ever. This way, you can spend less time farming and more time buying everything you need to tackle the next set of challenges.
Literally just do quests as efficiently as you can. The difference between picking a perfect route and just doing whatever is like an hour, tops. I've already leveled 7 characters in bets because I won't be playing at launch (baby due in aug) and I've been under 12 hours on all but the first. I actually broke 10 on DH, but that's bcuz war mode and DH leech is OP, not because of a special route.

Again, I play on Hoard side. I had an issue with the War Campaign guide. The guide suggests I pick up the “Wanted” posts at each outpost. I was not able to pick up these until I had finished unlocking all three outposts and the World Quests. I was able to proceed with some of the guide by manually double checking them to X, but the guide didn’t work quite right after that. I had to go back and pick up the next Outpost then it would be ok, until at the next location I needed to X the Wanted quests again.
As always, I will monitor and update this guide as new information comes in. If I've gotten anything glaringly and completely wrong, just tell me with as much data as possible. The idea is to find the fastest possible leveling method, NOT to argue about how good or bad individuals are. If you have hard data, post it! If you have an idea, let the thread know so we can test it!
He then added, "There is another issue tangentially related to this discussion that I also would like to address: Many feel that it takes too long to level in the 60-80 range in particular, and that the combat pacing issues discussed here are just a piece of that larger problem. Another dungeon farm, this time in Uldum, Tol'Vir trash mobs drop loads of embersilk cloth. Stacks of this tend to sell for a tidy profit, though prices vary depending on the realm. A typical clear of the dungeon takes about 5 minutes, netting about 7.5k per hour in cloth, vendor trash, and various other drops like mats and BoEs. Pick up a Potion of Treasure Finding and farm to your heart's content! It's just as profitable on normal mode as heroic, too, making farming all the quicker and easier.
Third: Don’t skimp out on consumables. I recommend getting 20 flask, 20 Drums, 40 Runes/Food, and about 20 pots. If you are Horde I HIGHLY recommend about 40 Goblin Gliders, it will make your life so much easier. Consumables are pretty cheap right now (on my server at least) and I do recommend you stock up. Ask a friendly mage for some food before you start leveling so you don’t have to waste your buff food.
Dungeons still give too much experience. Yes, I'll get some hate mail for this. But due to the way dungeons -- especially at some levels -- scale, along with experience buffs, the fastest way from 1-110 now involves grinding one dungeon over and over and over again. It's the equivalent of the South Park "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode, only instead of killing boars, you're killing endless worms in Ragefire Chasm or gnolls in The Stockades.
While the expansion kicks off with heavy references and scenes of this war, leveling through the Horde side of the new content it barely came up again. Except for all the times I had to mine Azerite to make sure my faction was the leader in the Azeroth version of a nuclear arms race. The Alliance side of things had some heavier references to to the war, at least in the portions I played, with one scenario in Stormsong Valley where a fleet of Horde aggressors bombed a town.
A: The WoW Token feature is designed to facilitate the exchange of gold and game time between players in as secure, convenient, and fair a way as possible, and without making players feel like they’re playing a game with their hard-earned money. Having a set current market price and a straightforward exchange system is the best way to achieve that—you don’t need to worry about whether your Token will sell or not due to being undercut or the market shifting, and everyone receives exactly the amount of gold they were quoted.
These quests for the amount of time to complete them are not worth a spot that a green quest and above takes up save for questing achievements - this can be finished up later at higher levels (such as for the Loremaster achievement) - or for later rep grinding. Do green quests as soon as possible to avoid the drop in experience when they turn gray.
You earn a large rested experience bonus when you log out in this rest areas. This gives you a massive 200-percent bonus to experience gain from most actions (though experience from quests isn’t included). The amount of rested experience you earn increases the longer you’re logged off, and your experience bar will be blue (instead of purple) while you have the bonus.
Im pretty much Herb Alch for life because I like not having to rely on anyone else for my consumables. The addition of Sky Golem completely changed herbalism for me. All professions are represented with the 11 warfront quest and I can promise you if you know how to play the AH a little you can make a fortune off the items required for turn in. That also being said, profs were not a big focal point for me on my months of beta testing. I went herb alch on the first pre-made character just so I could have consumables for Raid and M+ testing.
In particular, between 2014 and 2016, it was possible for dedicated players to generate quantities of gold that were previously impossible to obtain, and have not been possible to obtain since. The Warlords of Draenor expansion was the first time the game included nonplayer character followers that players could send on missions to collect resources, items and other useful stuff, including gold.
Just before Battle for Azeroth goes live, you will want to log all of your characters out in the zone of Silithus so that you can acquire the quest to talk to Magni and obtain your Heart of Azeroth (refer to our Heart of Azeroth guide for more information about this item). This is the new artifact-type of piece of equipment that you will use for all of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Once you acquire your permanent neck slot piece of equipment, get back to Stormwind or Orgrimmar to begin your scenario that leads into the introductory areas of Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
When you have completed your third zone, you should be nearly max level, but you still have work to do! Head back to your faction hub and complete the last foothold quest to unlock your fourth mission table champion. After, you will want to do your newly available invasion missions for your faction. This quest chain is one that will be time gated by reputation levels earned with the 7th Legion for the Alliance and iThe Honorbound for the Horde. Complete as many quests as you can and then finish up your leveling with side quests you may have left in previous zones as necessary.
Before you begin, you must decide on whether or not to enable War Mode. War Mode makes it so that you will only see other players with War Mode enabled, which also enables PvP activity. Note that if you are in a party with someone not on War Mode while you are, you will be unable to see him or her. War Mode provides an experience buff as well as the enabling of three PvP talents that will greatly increase your power. Regardless of whether or not you enable War Mode, your objectives will remain the same in that you must complete all quest content to unlock flying later on and many of your War Campaign and Allied Race requirements. War Mode enables 10% bonus experience, 10% better rewards from World Quests, and allows for the gathering of Conquest points which can be used to buy gear. If you do play on War Mode, it is recommended to play with friends. Leveling without War Mode will not be significantly more time consuming.
I'm with that guy, I'll probably pick whichever zone I want and not follow a set path for the questing experience itself (like the part about not picking up the treasures, if I see a shiny I'm going for it lol), but I'll come back to this post for the gearing/rep-gain stuff. In Legion, herbs, fish and enchanting materials were so abundant that a very small population of gatherers could supply more raw materials than the economy could consume.
