Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley are both fairly similar zones, but Stormsong is a little longer, meaning that you might not even have to finish it to hit 120. Tiragarde also comes with a bit of a warning. There are plenty of side quests to do in the zone after you finish the story quests. Don’t do them. It’s not worth the time or the experience you’ll get.

With 8.0, Blizzard introduced World of Warcraft’s second ever stat squish — where all the numbers in the game are lowered across the board for clarity. While it may make the game easier to read, it has caused some serious in-game problems. Since the patch, Blizzard has been throwing out hotfixes each day, fixing things that the stat squish either forgot to alter or simply broke.
“We are seeing the same sort of discrepancies that folks in this thread and others have pointed out,” said Hazzikostas. “But we still have yet to pinpoint the exact aspect of scaling that we failed to account for. We want to understand why the numbers are off and fix the underlying cause: Were stats on gear reduced too much? Some aspect of creature armor or other combat calculations? Are our baseline values accurate, but the shape of the scaling curve wrong such that it’s particularly far off the mark in the 60-80 range?
Gold in WoW has value based on the time it takes a player to earn it. The various methods of farming gold, such as growing herbs, yield maybe 20,000 gold per hour. These two expansions are virtually identical in terms of exp/h. I personally favor Mount Hyjal, and think it's very slightly faster. But if you know Jade Forest well you can just as easily keep up there. Ultimately you'll end up doing both anyway, so it's mostly academic. Every time I've tested Valley of Four Winds or Deepholme, or any other zone in MOP/CATA's level range, they were worse exp/h. You should not even need to complete both zones to ding 91, so it's more important to just pick one and go.
Possible solutions: nerf dungeon experience unless there are five people in the group. Drastically nerf experience if there's a high level character along. More importantly, fix the pacing of outdoor content so that people won't get frustrated and turn to cheesy methods like this -- even hardcore, Mythic-raiding, altaholic Day-1 Warcraft players like myself.

At Level 100, we recommend that you take the talent Unholy Frenzy. If you choose to take this talent over the other 2 options, then we recommend switching your Level 57 talent to Bursting Sores due to the great AoE synergy between these 2 talents. If you choose to use the talent Army of the Damned, which is an easier talent to play with, then we recommend staying with the Level 57 talent Ebon Fever.
One of the most profitable ways to farm in patch 5.4 is to buy Potions of Luck from the auction house and head to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. In the northwestern corner, specifically the Ruins of Guo-Lai and the Guo-Lai Hills, there's tons of mobs that can be aggroed in huge groups and AOE'd down. The Potion of Luck will increase your chances of finding loot on the monsters, and these mobs in particular drop good crafting mats, Skycrystals, motes of harmony, and Gou-Lai keys. Many guides tout this as the greatest way to farm gold; depending on your ilvl and clear time, you can earn anywhere from 2.5-7.5k an hour.
Take breaks. Unless you're straight up no-lifing it over a weekend or something, this leveling process is going to take ~40 hours. But any time you do need to step away, log out. That tiny little bit of rested exp is insignificant...but you never know when something might come up and you'll have to leave for a longer period of time than you expected. Better to be logged out and safe(especially with War Mode on) than AFK waiting for a d/c. Plus, you'll need to stretch, eat, shower, and maybe sleep. XD

I'm very, very interested in a guide that takes into the following: 1) Dungeon finder; and 2) Heirloom items. I've never helped with a guide before, but would be open to help in collaborating on the project. With the leveling guides I've used (primarily this one) I, too, find that I level at a rate that throws the pace of the guide way off (not its fault at all, I can't say enough good stuff about the guide) to the point that I get frustrated and just queue up for dungeons.

Elixirs serve the same purpose as Flasks, but the buff expires if you die. You'll only use these between 1-70, generally speaking, until you can start buying Flasks which persist through death. Try not to die, and carry extras just in case. If you can't find an Elixir with the stat you want, look under scrolls, since they count as battle or guardian buffs as well.
In particular, between 2014 and 2016, it was possible for dedicated players to generate quantities of gold that were previously impossible to obtain, and have not been possible to obtain since. The Warlords of Draenor expansion was the first time the game included nonplayer character followers that players could send on missions to collect resources, items and other useful stuff, including gold.
According to a recent report, the developers dug into the numbers and saw that this was a legitimate issue, as leveling in that range took about 15 percent longer than levels before or after. While the hotfix notes don't go into too many details, Blizzard explains that the experience required to gain a level has been lowered for the range of levels 40 to 100. That brings the amount of time needed to level between the magic 60 to 80 range down by 14 percent, with a smaller reduction in time between levels 40 and 49. We figure a lot of math had to go into figuring out a proper adjustment here but, assuming Blizzard's estimates are correct, that should appease players who felt like they were stuck within a certain range for too long.

Even decked out in a full set of heirloom gear, my little fury warrior hasn’t one-shot much of anything in her 22 levels. Mobs that survive longer hit more often, hence my dangerously low health in the screenshot below. Players have to be a little more mindful now. That’s a good thing.
