With the level cap being raised in each expansion, new players are faced with a rather long and dated leveling experience until new level cap is reached. Blizzard already implemented stat squishes through the Battle for Azeroth 8.0 pre-patch last month, and has further lowered the amount of experience required to level, but even Blizzard believes that new players aren’t getting the leveling experience they deserve.
There are professions you can train in to make money in the game. You can be an herbalist to pick useful plants; an alchemist to make potions; a miner to mine ore; a blacksmith to craft armor; a jewelcrafter, who can cut gems that can be socketed into certain items to augment them; or an enchanter, who can enchant items to have bonus stats or effects.

You should try and quest efficiently - pulling several mobs if you can handle it, using your burst cooldowns while questing to kill everything faster. Many people would think that a 10-minute cooldown like Bloodlust is useless in open world, but you can do a "kill-15-mobs" quest in like 30 seconds if you pull a lot and use it. A free quest every 10 minutes is not that bad.
Once you reach 575 you can purchase vendor recipes for the last 25 points. The Blacksmithing recipes are on a vendor in Vale of Eternal Blossoms. You can enter Vale of Eternal Blossoms after completing the questA Celestial Experience (requires level 87). After you completed the quest, you can find Jorunga Stonehoof (Horde) in Shrine of Two Moons and Cullen Hammerbrow (Alliance) in Shrine of Seven Stars.

Incorporating an accelerated leveling pace is *definitely* something we want to incorporate in to the new addon My hope is to allow an option for you to set yourself to one or two higher speeds, where the guide will skip some steps along the way. The steps will have a special tag that lets the addon know to skip them if the person has that setting enabled.
The reason for this is simple: Most players don’t need a lot of gold or care very much about it. An active player might earn an income of a few thousand gold per week from sending followers on missions and doing World Quests that award gold. They might then spend most of that money at the auction house buying things like flasks and stat-buffing food to do raids and Mythic+ dungeons. Gold just isn’t a big deal for them.
Island Expeditions are a new idea that digs into the island vibe brought in by Battle for Azeroth and allows players to team up in groups of three to venture out onto various islands to gather all-important Azerite while fighting against enemies on the island and completing quests. The twist is that Island Expeditions are also a race against the opposite faction — whether it's three AI characters or three real players is up to you — but you may have to do a little player vs. player (or fake PvP) if you happen to run into them.

“I think [the levelling experience] is a pretty hotly debated topic internally, about how to handle that,” Dawson said in a recent interview with Gamesindustry.biz. “I think we recognize that we’re not giving new players as good an experience as we can, and we do want to focus on how to make that experience better. Just before Battle for Azeroth goes live, you will want to log all of your characters out in the zone of Silithus so that you can acquire the quest to talk to Magni and obtain your Heart of Azeroth (refer to our Heart of Azeroth guide for more information about this item). This is the new artifact-type of piece of equipment that you will use for all of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. Once you acquire your permanent neck slot piece of equipment, get back to Stormwind or Orgrimmar to begin your scenario that leads into the introductory areas of Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
While this income stream dried up when Legion came out in 2016, Draenor garrisons multiplied the total amount of gold in circulation many times. During the Mists of Pandaria expansion, you were rich if you had a few hundred thousand gold but, after Warlords, rich meant being a multimillionaire. However, the impact of this extra gold was blunted for a while, because WoW Tokens were redeemable only for more game time until February 2017, limiting how much gold rich players were willing to sell.
But when it comes time to level another character for any reason, this pace is going to make me think twice. And that's a shame. I'm not someone who gets any particular joy out of instant-boosting a character to max level. There are dozens of zones -- no exaggeration -- that I wouldn't mind experiencing again, if I could do a few of them at a time and feel like I was making meaningful progress on another level-110 in the process.
As late as possible. Early on, you’ll want to follow the missions in Battle for Azeroth right up until you get the option to send a follower on a two-hour long quest. As soon as you get there, stop doing the War Campaign missions. You can come back to them once you have reached something like 119 and a half and finish leveling with those if you want. If you don’t use these missions to cap off your leveling journey, then they’re the first thing you’ll want to do once you reach max level.

Once characters reach the level cap, gameplay turns from leveling to the end-game. This represents the culmination of the leveling process and the beginning of the deeper challenges awaiting max-level characters. While play prior to this point is oriented around accumulating experience and gaining new skills, the end-game represents the polished 'final destination' for players, at which characters are fully developed and ready to tackle the biggest challenges in the game, or to relax and make their own adventure.
Update: The reason for less experience from gathering is due to how Blizzard revamped professions and broke them down by expansion. In order to get full exp from gathering you'll simply need to find a profession trainer for the relevant expansion. (WoD you just mine or herb the first one ypu come across and the game gives you a scroll for learning WoD gathering).

Full disclosure on my time with Battle for Azeroth thus far: I leveled a Horde character to 120 and completed all three Zandalar storylines plus put about 20 hours into end-game content. I have also leveled an Alliance character partway through Kul Tiras and completed portions of the Stormsong Valley and Tiragarde Sound storylines. My only experience in Drustavar has been through the eyes of the Horde thus far.
Something to keep in mind as well is that this will make enchanting materials more valuable, since it is likely most players will now simply scrap their boe greens instead of getting them disenchanted. Also redundant dungeon/raid gear can be scrapped rather than traded to the (guild) enchanter in the run. Less stuff gets disenchanted, meaning there will be less ecnhanting materials, meaning their value will rise. All the more reason to DE rather than scrap as an ecnhanter.

They did remove the 355 drops (despite what Preach said in his last video, I just went and checked it before typing this up) and they only drop 280.

If you want an even faster leveling guide ,pick up the Dynasty leveling addon. This is an all in-game WoW Leveling Guide that automatically updates as you do quests and level up. You can still level fast without an in-game addon like this but they usually cut the leveling time in half. Most of my level 90’s have been leveled with this addon and i can usually get to level 90 in less than 3 days.
This is August 14 and Blizzard has completely the launch of Battle for Azeroth globally. With the brand new content appearing, players are excited about new quest, new class and new war. Meanwhile, for part of players, it is a question about how to survive in such a different environment. Power leveling is the term used to describe the process of leveling a character as rapidly as possible with the least amount of play time. It can be used from any level up to level cap. Contrary to what many believe, efficient power leveling does not require endless hours of grinding. The best methods of power leveling involve doing many quests in an orderly fashion.

My second least-favorite part: leveling ranges. Zones are divided into leveling ranges; some are for levels 10-60, others for levels 58-80, and so on. On the surface, that appears to make sense; while there are odd moments where you're presented with the content from two expansions at once, it does mean that you're more or less going through content in order, at least by expansion if not by level.

This is also the reason why when I read in WoW forums of people skipping guide sections, due to being too low level I'm not agree and start ranting about it: it'll be a mess syncronizing with the guide and I've seen many people complaining about missing quests or accusing the guide for being innacurate, but not realizing that was their fault since they're skipping and missing a lot of quest chain requirement. Of course this apply if you're following a guide, believe me, it's very frustrating when you remain stuck in a guide section due to the reasons I've mentioned, more than doing grey quests (but they allow to be perfectly in sync with the guide) and goiing here and there to get the pre-requisite quests.
