Grinding mobs is tedious and slow. Questing is much faster since you get the massive quest experience in addition to the monster's experience. There is no grinding in this guide - you can go through every single level by simply questing! There is minimal traveling time as the guide leads you visually through maps so you can quickly rack up quest experience.

Lastly: The zone order I recommend for Horde is Vol’dun- Zuldazar- Nazmir. Vol’dun is definitely the most challenging of the bunch and having the use of your Legion gear and leggos will smooth this zone out. Nazmir is the easiest of the bunch which is nice when things start to get a little grindy past 116. For Alliance, I recommend Drustvar- TS- Stormsong. Same logic as the Horde side, in my opinion Drustvar is the hardest and Stormsong is the easiest for when it gets grindy. I would recommend you waiting to do any of the War Campaign until you are capped because it just takes you out of the way. I also recommend not killing a single rare mob or picking up a single treasure because in my experience it is just not even remotely worth it. The gear scales up on the rare mobs so its smarter to keep them till 120 anyways. After you are done leveling, I do recommend taking the time to do all the quest at the Faction Outpost in your enemy territory. They do provide rep for the Honorbound which helps. Most of them are quite easy. If you do not level in Warmode, you will usually hit 114 from your first zone, 117 from your second, and cap 120 about 2/3 in your final zone.

Fully rested experience (this is the blue color your experience bar takes instead of purple) grants 200% more experience per kill. Quest experience does not work the same as mob experience. Instead of just using the rested bonus, quest experience pushes the bar further upwards extending the rested bonus. Say if half your experience bar is blue. If you turn in 10 quests all at one the normal experience from them all could boost a character a full level. Unlike mobs where the experience gain will use up said bonus - the quests merely 'push' the bar further. Doing this could net you a level and still have the 200% bonus for mob kills applying to milk the rest bonus.
Pick druid, paladin or monk. Get heirlooms if you can. Grind mobs until level 5 - 6. Start doing the easy "just kill these mobs outside town" quests until 15. Queue rdf as every role and do every dungeon you can (with heirlooms you could probably solo the dungeons) while you travel to higher lever zones. Keep doing the simplest quests while you're waiting for rdf (which shouldn't be long). I leveled a druid to 100 once doing this in maybe a day /played, but he was also rested for most of the process.
Elixirs serve the same purpose as Flasks, but the buff expires if you die. You'll only use these between 1-70, generally speaking, until you can start buying Flasks which persist through death. Try not to die, and carry extras just in case. If you can't find an Elixir with the stat you want, look under scrolls, since they count as battle or guardian buffs as well.

That tiny little bit of rested exp is insignificant...but you never know when something might come up and you'll have to leave for a longer period of time than you expected. Better to be logged out and safe(especially with War Mode on) than AFK waiting for a d/c. Plus, you'll need to stretch, eat, shower, and maybe sleep. XD

Max level players are able to complete lower level content with ease, allowing them to swiftly complete missed quests and achievements in earlier zones, and can travel through zones without being constantly attacked, since mobs will only attack players several levels higher than them if walked directly into. Max level also makes it possible to solo earlier group content such as dungeons and even raids, making farming loot such as mounts far easier, and for those interested in a challenge opening up a new subtype of play at slightly higher levels.

Most of the time you spend leveling will involve questing and slaying monsters, but there’s also a lot of travel. Travel earns you little experience (you do gain a bit for discovering new areas), so it’s wise to keep travel to a minimum. The new level scaling system, which scales zones to your level within a preset range, helps with that. You can choose what zones you want to experience and stick with them until you finish their quests.


The additional recipe ranks can be obtained either by exploring the outdoor Broken Isles zones or as rewards when you dive into the dungeons of the region. If you’re feeling up to the challenge, you can aim to hit skill level 100 and player level 100 to open up profession world quests, which rewards higher rank recipes for your Legion gold making operation.
