Fishing requires much time and does not yield much profit until its later levels. Unless you enjoy it for its own sake, avoid seriously delving into fishing until your level limit. It is not a bad idea to do a little when starting out a new character on a new server, though - the gray items you fish up sell for good money to a starter, which can help you out with your other tradeskills.

Leveling in WoW is pretty linear and easy compared to most other Mmorpgs, and the in game quest mechanics makes the leveling process pretty fast. Our WoW Leveling Guide is the best and quickest free leveling guide for WoW. Just start in your race starting zone and make your way to new level appropriate zones as you level up. This guide won’t go in depth on exactly what quest to do when, but you really don’t need anything like that in WoW anymore. However it will take you through leveling all the way from level 1 to level 90. From Classic WoW, Through the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.
According to a recent report, the developers dug into the numbers and saw that this was a legitimate issue, as leveling in that range took about 15 percent longer than levels before or after. While the hotfix notes don't go into too many details, Blizzard explains that the experience required to gain a level has been lowered for the range of levels 40 to 100. That brings the amount of time needed to level between the magic 60 to 80 range down by 14 percent, with a smaller reduction in time between levels 40 and 49. We figure a lot of math had to go into figuring out a proper adjustment here but, assuming Blizzard's estimates are correct, that should appease players who felt like they were stuck within a certain range for too long.
Stormheim is the zone you want to start it. For some reason Legion treasures are not worth any experience like they are in WoD...except in Stormheim. I haven't been able to find out any reason for this, and it's possible it may get fixed/nerfed at a later date. But for the time being you REALLY want to jump from treasure to treasure to augment your quest experience.

Instead, go to Timeless Isle and take the portal to Gorgrond. From there, fly to your respective faction starting zone(Frostfire Ridge or SMV), go to your garrison, and do the quests to unlock your garrison(A short quest chain beginning down near the water where you'd otherwise start after the Dark Portal scenario). For now DO NOT collect any more treasures than absolutely needed to buy 1 or 2 experience potions! Treasures continue to be worth superior exp/h all the way to level 107!!! You don't want to begin collecting them until lvl 100 or later.
Make sure you have the two Flight-Path toys purchased, as this can save you time. It won't have EVERY flight path, but will have major locations for faster travel if you need to switch zones entirely(which you will). If you buy the toys on one faction, it unlocks for the other faction as well. So don't spend double the gold! These toys can be found at the heirloom vendor(Undercity for Horde, Ironforge for Alliance)

Gold-making blog Just My Two Copper suggests that enchanting will be quite the money making profession during the initial phase of Patch 5.3. This is because with players racking up new shield heirloom items and new PvP weapons and cloaks, and the tendency of PvP fans to max out every potential stat in their gear to win their matches, they will spend a pretty penny on Enchanting boosts. Just My Two Copper expects direct enchanting fees as well as the costs of Enchanting materials to rise during the start of the patch.
With the most in-demand decks going for up to 20,000 Gold each, Basil believes that Darkmoon cards (12 of which when combined form a full deck) can earn scribes the highest possible WoW Gold. But he said that it takes intricate planning and logistics to really ramp up the Gold income from Darkmoon cards due to the constraints surrounding its crafting cooldown.
As you can see, every profession is represented with these quest givers. What I was alluding too with the scrap bot is if you scrap your gear, you will have the mats required for someone who has this profession to be able to make the required item for you. That or you could trade other players for the items required for these turn ins. You will need the help of other players or a lot of gold in order to complete all 11 of these turn ins. Having a guild here will help a lot with this process.

I had multiple people ask me why I didn’t do blood or prot for leveling on DK/Pally and the god honest truth is the fact that I know how to play ret and unholy quite well and the limits of the class. I tried leveling as prot and good Christ it felt like I did no damage. If you take selfless healer and wake of ashes you should have 0 issues with leveling as Ret and it is significantly faster. As for Unholy if you take grip of the dead to kite a little, deathpact for healing, and keep up with your Dark Succor (spelling?) procs you will have no issues. I died once as DK and none as pally. The only classes I struggled with a little was WW and Shaman. WW because the aoe felt under-tuned at the time and shaman because they are trash imho.

Lastly: The zone order I recommend for Horde is Vol’dun- Zuldazar- Nazmir. Vol’dun is definitely the most challenging of the bunch and having the use of your Legion gear and leggos will smooth this zone out. Nazmir is the easiest of the bunch which is nice when things start to get a little grindy past 116. For Alliance, I recommend Drustvar- TS- Stormsong. Same logic as the Horde side, in my opinion Drustvar is the hardest and Stormsong is the easiest for when it gets grindy. I would recommend you waiting to do any of the War Campaign until you are capped because it just takes you out of the way. I also recommend not killing a single rare mob or picking up a single treasure because in my experience it is just not even remotely worth it. The gear scales up on the rare mobs so its smarter to keep them till 120 anyways. After you are done leveling, I do recommend taking the time to do all the quest at the Faction Outpost in your enemy territory. They do provide rep for the Honorbound which helps. Most of them are quite easy. If you do not level in Warmode, you will usually hit 114 from your first zone, 117 from your second, and cap 120 about 2/3 in your final zone.

Third: Do Warfront when you can (if they open for the first week which I haven’t read anything that says they aren’t) because it gives a 370 piece of gear and gives you access to Arathi Highlands where you can kill a world boss and do quest for rep. They did remove the 355 drops (despite what Preach said in his last video, I just went and checked it before typing this up) and they only drop 280.

Special mention is the Darkmoon Faire Top Hat and WHEE! buff. While not always available due to the DMF being inaccessible most of the month, if you happen to be leveling when the DMF is running, it might be worth your time to go and get these. AFAIK they do stack with heirlooms, although I have not personally tested it. Fair warning: These buffs do NOT stack with each other, and the hats disappear after the DMF goes away later in the month(unless you only log in when the faire is running).


Once again, as soon as you hit 70 - I recommend to go and learn faster flying. This speeds up your questing A LOT, and is worth the time and gold. It will cost 4500 if you go to the capitol, or 5000 if you prefer Shattrath/Dalaran, because you will not have reputation with them at that point. This price will sadly be above what a totally new character can afford, if you don't have any Main. But you should go and buy flying as soon as you have enough money.
The level cap represents the ultimate goal and culmination of the leveling process, with max-level characters having gained access to all class abilities and talents, and being able to access end-game content and equip the most powerful gear. By providing an equal limit for the progression of all characters, the level cap allows for competitive and balanced gameplay in both PvE and PvP.
I've been having a lot of fun throughout World of Warcraft's Legion expansion, but I'm coming from the experience of having played it since the beginning with a heap of high-level characters to romp around with. For many Legion is their first crack at WoW (or their first MMO), and several changes to the leveling system have a lot of people up in arms.

Fifth: World Quest are back and are still important for leveling your Heart of Azeroth and gaining rep. I do recommend you do these in Warmode for the additional bonuses but if you don’t like PvP I would at least suggest doing a clear of all the quest that don’t give AP in Normal mode then going back and clearing the ones that do give AP in Warmode for the bonus. Emissaries are back and work the same way though it is very important to hold off on any emissary quest that gives you gear until you are at least 310 item level. Once you hit 310 item level, the reward jumps to 340 loot instead of 325? (its somewhere around that area). Try to delay these the best you can, but don’t risk missing out on free loot.
Recently, Blizzard provided their own WoW Token system for players to buy and sell World of Warcraft Gold. However, the constantly fluctuating supply and demand means that prices will vary. Consequently, getting the best prices isn't guaranteed, nor do you know when you'll make a sale. You also can't trade or resell any tokens you buy, as they become instantly "Soulbound".

I personally wouldn't recommend Bloodmyst Isle. There's a ton of quests but a lot of those quests have absolutely horrible drop rates on their items. A lot of the quest mobs also have very slow and/or spread out spawns so if there's other people there you're gonna be waiting for respawns or spending a lot of time traveling between spawn areas quite a bit. Overall it's just an incredibly slow zone as far as EXP goes.
I defintely think at 118 you should go and do all four of these parts. These are required to unlock World Quests and probably take about 60-90 minutes to get through. If you do these whilst levelling (especially all in one go at 118) then when you hit max level you're ready to go on WQs. You can go finish the zones quests at your leisure over the next weeks/months or never even finish them if you don't care about questing.

The dark side of this disparity is griefing; max level players are able to easily disrupt questing areas in use by players of the opposite faction, and can one-shot most enemy characters. Sadly, even guards in most areas are unable to stand against well-equipped max level players, especially as the current expansion progresses and gear steadily increases in power. Of course, the best answer to this is usually to recruit some max level players of your own faction, or switch to a max level alt, and make the griefer regret the day they flew into Goldshire.

Auto looting a mob will increase leveling speed for the expansion. to enable it = Esc, Interface, Controls, Enable Auto Loot. I'm including this because sometimes the simple things are missed. I, sadly, went 3/4 of the way through WoD not knowing that hitting the space bar for my mission tables is much MUCH faster than waiting it out. (i never claimed to be smart OKAY) =P

From my understanding, the world boss is always there when your faction controls the Warfront. Like other world bosses you can only get gear from him once a week. There are other world bosses in the zones outside the warfront and 1 spawns a week just like Legion. I’m not 100% sure that the warfront will be available on launch but I have yet to read anything that says otherwise. The quest also reset once a week as well. Think of Warfronts like old Tol-Barad

While it may make the game easier to read, it has caused some serious in-game problems. Since the patch, Blizzard has been throwing out hotfixes each day, fixing things that the stat squish either forgot to alter or simply broke.
