Special note: At 110 it's almost certainly worthwhile to go and immediately get your Heart of Azeroth and first piece of Azerite gear from the BfA opening quest. It doesn't take long and provides pretty high power levels. I'd then return to Legion quests until 111 or even 112, since the power of these items will increase your kill speed significantly over the scaled enemies of BfA content.
First up we have patch 7.3.5, which was implemented several months ago as a major shakeup to how leveling was approached. Instead of going from low to high level zones like the way the game had always operated, Blizzard opened up the map with more of a Guild Wars 2 type system -- you now have more of a choice of where to go with a scaling mechanic. But when combined with 8.0's massive stat overhaul, things got murky.

While it may make the game easier to read, it has caused some serious in-game problems. The community was apparently frustrated with Blizzard for a lack of communication concerning the issue, but it looks like that was due to the fact that their heads were down as they worked to understand the problem. It was explained that they didn't want to just roll out a quick bandage, as that would likely cause unforeseen issues down the road. Instead, they're crunching the numbers and digging into the code in the hopes of discovering a legitimate source of the problem.
Was doing it at 52 on my lightforged paladin and it was easily the slowest zone out of the ones I'd done. Granted, I didn't have War Mode on so I didn't have any PVP talents, but it felt like about 40% of my time was spent waiting around for respawns or wandering around looking for mobs to kill to get a quest item that had like a 5% drop rate. Maybe I just got unlucky but I definitely won't be going to that zone again for future heritage armor runs.

Lastly: The zone order I recommend for Horde is Vol’dun- Zuldazar- Nazmir. Vol’dun is definitely the most challenging of the bunch and having the use of your Legion gear and leggos will smooth this zone out. Nazmir is the easiest of the bunch which is nice when things start to get a little grindy past 116. For Alliance, I recommend Drustvar- TS- Stormsong. Same logic as the Horde side, in my opinion Drustvar is the hardest and Stormsong is the easiest for when it gets grindy. I would recommend you waiting to do any of the War Campaign until you are capped because it just takes you out of the way. I also recommend not killing a single rare mob or picking up a single treasure because in my experience it is just not even remotely worth it. The gear scales up on the rare mobs so its smarter to keep them till 120 anyways. After you are done leveling, I do recommend taking the time to do all the quest at the Faction Outpost in your enemy territory. They do provide rep for the Honorbound which helps. Most of them are quite easy. If you do not level in Warmode, you will usually hit 114 from your first zone, 117 from your second, and cap 120 about 2/3 in your final zone.


Enchants. I honestly wasn't 100% certain which enchants were best, since scaling has screwed up a lot of things. IMO, just pick the enchant for each armor slot that has the highest bonus without level restrictions. The exception is that you'll definitely want Mark of the Hidden Satyr for your neck piece, and probably Elemental Force for your weapon. Both of these proc consistently and strongly across all levels.

If you bought Legion and have no desire to go through old content, good news! The new expansion comes with a free boost to level 100 for one character. You can buy these boosts from the in-game store whenever you want, but they normally cost $60, so savor this free one. Use it for a class that you are confident you will enjoy. As a fresh level 100 character, you will be able to immediately begin the quest that takes you the Broken Isles, the new region where Legion takes place.
Pick druid, paladin or monk. Get heirlooms if you can. Grind mobs until level 5 - 6. Start doing the easy "just kill these mobs outside town" quests until 15. Queue rdf as every role and do every dungeon you can (with heirlooms you could probably solo the dungeons) while you travel to higher lever zones. Keep doing the simplest quests while you're waiting for rdf (which shouldn't be long). I leveled a druid to 100 once doing this in maybe a day /played, but he was also rested for most of the process.
The Escalation patch has introduced several new scenarios with respective heroic modes that provide shiny new loot. It is still too early to predict which of these will demand the highest prices at the auction house or AH, since it can take weeks for players to work through the content and determine the value of the new drops compared to the existing items. Many expect the rarest and most prized drops to start commanding handsome prices starting June, so just keep your eyes peeled for popular WTB requests in general chat and high-selling items at the AH.

Arms is the best leveling spec for Warrior in Battle For Azeroth. Fury is a great single target spec, but lacks the AoE needed to compete with Arms. You will be striving to fight 2-3 enemies at a time for optimal results and Arms has the perfect spells and talents for the job. My tests have shown the average amount of mobs you will fight at once is around 2.3, which makes Sweeping Strikes amazing for leveling. Perhaps my favorite combination in the game is Avatar + Ravager + Sweeping Strikes. It slices down large packs of mobs in seconds.
The dark side of this disparity is griefing; max level players are able to easily disrupt questing areas in use by players of the opposite faction, and can one-shot most enemy characters. Sadly, even guards in most areas are unable to stand against well-equipped max level players, especially as the current expansion progresses and gear steadily increases in power. Of course, the best answer to this is usually to recruit some max level players of your own faction, or switch to a max level alt, and make the griefer regret the day they flew into Goldshire.
Also note that power leveling is sometimes used to refer to paying someone else to level your character to cap as fast as possible (i.e. they power level for you); a distinction used by Blizzard is to refer to the paid leveling as "power leveling service." This behavior is against Blizzard's Terms of Service. Power leveling yourself, which this article covers, is perfectly acceptable.
After completing your island expedition and second foothold, head back out to your third and final zone to quest in. The most recent run I did on my hunter, I never set foot in Ghostlands, nor did I need to fully complete Dustwallow Marsh. There are a LOT of quest lines in each of these zones that might not be available unless you progress and complete story-line quests in order. Northern Barrens and Andorhal are especially bad in this regard, but many zones you can easily miss out on a lot of quests if you don't do a vital quest. Prior to update 7.3.5 it was far too easy to level up a new character. The experience needed to advance from one level to the next was too low, resulting in players out-leveling the story quests in each zone, moving on before getting the full experience. With low monster health and high player power (especially when players were outfitted in ridiculously powerful heirloom gear), creatures dropped like flies. Combined with easy experience gained by joining parties in the dungeon finder, the first 60 levels in the game flew by.

Doing these quests takes you through the heart of the game's story AND provides the fastest rate of experience. Most BfA Alchemy recipes have 3 ranks. Rank 2 reduce the materials required to create a recipe, and Rank 3 have a chance to create multiple potions/flask etc. Higher rank recipes also give skill points much longer, so it will be a lot cheaper to level Alchemy if you first get Revered with the new BfA factions, because you can use cheaper recipes for longer.


Anyway both got to 110 at around 50h played. I messed up with my Pal by going to Legion once I hit 100 instead of finishing treasures and bonuses in WoD. All in all, if I picked the best zones and was only trying to level as fast as I could, I would probably could have done it in roughly 40h. Note that it would have a been A LOT faster with a Monk as both Ret and Rogues don't really have a decent AoE until 40+ (45 for Ret and 63 for Rogue I believe). The daily also helps a lot. I know that leveling my Monk before the pre-patch was insanely fast. Might be slower with the changes to FoF, however.

War Mode, enabled and disabled in Stormwind, gives 15% bonus experience for quests and kills in any zone. whether you're a fan of pvp or not, this might be smart to turn on as Alliance starts on Kul'Tiras and the Horde are on Zandalar. Most horde are going to only be on our island for max level world quests. If you dont like PvP, my advice would be to turn Warmode on for the first few levels, then disable it around 112.
