The WoW token is very simple: You pay Blizzard $20 for a token, and then you can sell the token on the in-game auction house. A player with gold can buy a token and redeem it for a month of WoW subscription time or for $15 of Battle.net balance, which is like a gift card credit that can be redeemed in WoW or other Blizzard games such as Hearthstone and Overwatch. You get their gold; they get your cash, or at least most of it.

Auto looting a mob will increase leveling speed for the expansion. to enable it = Esc, Interface, Controls, Enable Auto Loot. I'm including this because sometimes the simple things are missed. I, sadly, went 3/4 of the way through WoD not knowing that hitting the space bar for my mission tables is much MUCH faster than waiting it out. (i never claimed to be smart OKAY) =P

In August 2016, when Legion was released, a WoW token was worth 35,000 gold. Prices began to rise after Blizzard announced that tokens would be redeemable for Battle.net balance, and when the new functionality was released, the price of a token surged to about 90,000 gold. In July 2018, shortly before the release of Battle for Azeroth, prices peaked above 200,000 gold per token.
Vol’Dun is the hardest and most tedious of the Horde Zones in Battle for Azeroth. It’s also probably the one that makes the most sense. Each sections of quests leads directly to the one you should do next. For all of these reasons it’s going to be best to get this one done early. Thanks to any legendary items you might have collected in Legion, you’ll be strongest in the leveling process before 115 and weaker after — because that’s when the legendary effects stop working.

Cooking benefits all classes, especially melee and hunters (it is a free source of food). Until higher levels, the benefits it provides are almost exclusively stamina buffs. While more stamina is always nice, cooking is not essential to leveling. Considering the time investment required, if you pick up skinning then cooking would absolutely be a wise skill to level prior to hitting your level cap, as beasts often drop meat useful for skilling up.


Since the Battle for Azeroth was released in mid-August, it has received both possive and passive voice. Actually, bugs and issues are there and Blizzard keeps making further improvements. And patch 8.1 show some of Blizzard's sincerity. It brings the faction war back into focus and some big improvements to core systems are coming along too. He then added, "There is another issue tangentially related to this discussion that I also would like to address: Many feel that it takes too long to level in the 60-80 range in particular, and that the combat pacing issues discussed here are just a piece of that larger problem. We agree – currently players are taking about 15% longer per level, on average, in that range as compared to before 60 or after 80. We’re in the process of assembling a set of changes that will smooth out the experience curve at level 60 and beyond, reducing the experience requirements for those levels."
According to a recent report, the developers dug into the numbers and saw that this was a legitimate issue, as leveling in that range took about 15 percent longer than levels before or after. While the hotfix notes don't go into too many details, Blizzard explains that the experience required to gain a level has been lowered for the range of levels 40 to 100. That brings the amount of time needed to level between the magic 60 to 80 range down by 14 percent, with a smaller reduction in time between levels 40 and 49. We figure a lot of math had to go into figuring out a proper adjustment here but, assuming Blizzard's estimates are correct, that should appease players who felt like they were stuck within a certain range for too long.
On top of that, after several expansions of making trade goods more plentiful, Blizzard is making components for common consumables scarce again in Battle for Azeroth. The new flasks require a rare herb called Anchor Weed, which spawns randomly in place of other herbs, so it’s not plentiful anywhere and is difficult to farm in quantity. It’s much more precious than any commodity that herbalists have seen in several expansions.

At 98 you have the option to drop what you're doing and return to your capitol city to start the quest for your Legion Artifact weapon. However, I do not believe this is necessary to do right away unless you're struggling with kill speed in your current gear. I would recommend waiting for a natural pause, such as hearthing to repair and clear your bags. From 100 to 107 you won't even really fight mobs that often; only just enough to clear the way to any treasure you need to pick up.
Stormheim is the zone you want to start it. For some reason Legion treasures are not worth any experience like they are in WoD...except in Stormheim. I haven't been able to find out any reason for this, and it's possible it may get fixed/nerfed at a later date. But for the time being you REALLY want to jump from treasure to treasure to augment your quest experience.

Once again, as soon as you hit 70 - I recommend to go and learn faster flying. This speeds up your questing A LOT, and is worth the time and gold. It will cost 4500 if you go to the capitol, or 5000 if you prefer Shattrath/Dalaran, because you will not have reputation with them at that point. This price will sadly be above what a totally new character can afford, if you don't have any Main. But you should go and buy flying as soon as you have enough money.
In addition to questing and running dungeons in the Broken Isles, players should also remember to visit their class hall, which is like the garrisons from Draenor, but themed around your character’s class.The quest lines in your hall provide valuable experience and open up important features, like artifact weapon upgrades, that will drastically up your character’s power.
EXCEPTION: If you have Mining and only use Jewelcrafting to craft stone statues (for additional in-combat healing), then this may be a useful tradeskill. However, like Engineering above, it should not be a leveling focus and should only be used to assist with power leveling. Doing any more than this will become costly and should not be undertaken during the power-leveling process.
For scribes who can't and won't go all in with crafting Darkmoon Cards, an attractive alternative is to also dip into the other "odds and ends" inscription items. Particularly popular and profitable are BoE shoulder enchants (both blue and purple rarity), Runescrolls of Fortitude and the pair of companion kites. And if players had to choose only one of these, BoE should enchants are "easily one of the best money makers, in terms of gold per hour" because of their consistent demand and persistently solid wow gold price
