To give you some perspective I leveled both a LF Ret Paladin and BE Rogue (so one started from level 20 and the other from level 1). I focused on getting the achievements I was missing for the Loremaster, so not the most efficient route by any means. I was using full enchanted heirlooms (minus the ring) and the WoW-Pro addon though, as well as having War Mode turned on all the way.
Heirlooms. At the bare minimum you make sure all the armor pieces upgraded to 110, since this is the lion's share of your experience increase. Neck and Ring upgrades are secondary, but still important due to being able to enchant them. Trinkets can't be enchanted, but you'll want them at max as well, if only to save time by not having to worry about replacing them as you level.

EXCEPTION: If you have Mining and only use Jewelcrafting to craft stone statues (for additional in-combat healing), then this may be a useful tradeskill. However, like Engineering above, it should not be a leveling focus and should only be used to assist with power leveling. Doing any more than this will become costly and should not be undertaken during the power-leveling process.
I tell you my experience. I'm leveling a priest that it's 60 now and since I have also done some instances (and I have full heirloom set with 20% experience gain bonuses) and been very ahead of the guide, I skipped some zones since they were grey quest for me, well it was a real mess. Missing quests because I didn't to the previous to enable the following. Going in a zone then realizing that I couldn't do that quest because I didn't do the starting quest chain, very unconmfortable. In short what I suggest you it's not to skip areas, or make really sure that you do all the quests required (at least) and check carefully the previous zone you'll going to skip to make sure that you won't have problems with struggling finding where to start the quest chain to sync with the guide section.
He goes on to say that the changes went too far, and that they have "no desire" to keep moving in that direction. The problem is they don't know how to fix it quite yet. Hazzikostas understandably says that they don't want to make blanket changes that miss the "real source of the problem," which is exacerbated at levels 60-80 when the leveling curve gets particularly punishing. The sky isn't completely falling though based on data: Hazzikostas says that leveling is 15% longer. In the short term they want to increase experience gained at these levels to soften that blow.

Having a set current market price and a straightforward exchange system is the best way to achieve that—you don’t need to worry about whether your Token will sell or not due to being undercut or the market shifting, and everyone receives exactly the amount of gold they were quoted.
You should equip new quest rewards when their item level starts beating out your previous set of gear. If you are currently wearing Tier 21 gear, it is best to let the quest rewards significantly beat your existing item level before using them. With that said, you will unlock Azerite pieces early on, which are worth using over Tier gear in most circumstances.
These quests for the amount of time to complete them are not worth a spot that a green quest and above takes up save for questing achievements - this can be finished up later at higher levels (such as for the Loremaster achievement) - or for later rep grinding. Do green quests as soon as possible to avoid the drop in experience when they turn gray.
Recipe ranks basically make you more efficient at making stuff, either by letting you craft the same number of items for fewer materials or getting a higher yield from the same amount of materials. As an example, having a one-star rank recipe lets you craft items at a relatively inefficient way, but when you acquire two-star or even three-star recipes, it can almost feel like you are crafting items out of thin air because of the low amount of materials required for each craft.
Most of the time you spend leveling will involve questing and slaying monsters, but there’s also a lot of travel. Travel earns you little experience (you do gain a bit for discovering new areas), so it’s wise to keep travel to a minimum. The new level scaling system, which scales zones to your level within a preset range, helps with that. You can choose what zones you want to experience and stick with them until you finish their quests.
A: We chose to go with the subscription-based model instead of that approach. We've taken the approach that we want players to feel like it's a level playing field once they're in WoW. Outside resources don't play into it -- no gold buying, etc. We take a hard line stance against it. What you get out of microtransactions is kind of the same thing and I think our player base would feel betrayed by it. I think that's something else you have to decide on up-front instead of implementing later.

The biggest backdrop of Battle for Azeroth is the budding of a war between the Horde and the Alliance, two opposing factions that have more or less been on the same side of various struggles for a number of years. The separation of the two factions was refreshing and reminded me of leveling through vanilla WoW with unique zones given to each side (at least at the beginning).
Professions have changed dramatically in Legion. While before you simply had to pay for recipes when you were in town, now the trainers as you to gather certain materials or defeat certain targets in order to unlock additional recipes. How can you profit from this new system? Well, to compensate players with the harder recipe unlocks, the developers have implemented a recipe rank system.
A new expansion unlocks exponentially more powerful gear, letting you easily breeze through Warlords of Draenor dungeons and raids. A great gold making strategy is to solo these challenges and amass a large amount of gold that you get to keep instead of splitting with your group. Start with soloing easy dungeons and work your way towards harder dungeons until you are comfortable enough to take on soloing raids. Speed and clearing ability is key – stick to those you can run through without skipping a beat and you will see your gold making per hour go through the roof.
I dont know if this exist already, if it does I couldnt find one, but it would be nice to have a guide with the location of all daily quest broken down by Alliance, Horde, Faction, Neutral, etc. I know there can be variable quest for things like Fishing and Cooking but just having the location for those quest givers would be great. If it were a stand alone addon that would be even better!
Guild Banners. The Banner of Cooperation and Battle Standard of Coordination will increase the experience from kills. They both have a 10 minute cooldown, but when you use one, the other is only locked out for 2 minutes. I was very bad about using these, so it might be worth using a macro to drop them on your first attack against an enemy. Keep in mind you must have reputation with your guild before being able to buy these, so new character may have a bit of a wait before picking them up.
How many hours will players grind for a token now worth $15? On the Chinese and European servers — which include Eastern European countries where minimum wages are less than the equivalent of $2 per hour — there are plenty of people willing to sell their time for these prices. There is more of a question of relative value in North America, where players tend to value their time more highly relative to subscription costs.

The level cap represents the ultimate goal and culmination of the leveling process, with max-level characters having gained access to all class abilities and talents, and being able to access end-game content and equip the most powerful gear. By providing an equal limit for the progression of all characters, the level cap allows for competitive and balanced gameplay in both PvE and PvP.
Was doing it at 52 on my lightforged paladin and it was easily the slowest zone out of the ones I'd done. Granted, I didn't have War Mode on so I didn't have any PVP talents, but it felt like about 40% of my time was spent waiting around for respawns or wandering around looking for mobs to kill to get a quest item that had like a 5% drop rate. Maybe I just got unlucky but I definitely won't be going to that zone again for future heritage armor runs.
And the methods that gold sellers were using to harvest gold were wreaking havoc on the game. There was no way to stop the selling of gold as long as there was demand among the player base to pay for gold with cash. But there was a way to kill off these parasitic and predatory businesses that were involved in selling illicit gold: In April 2015, Blizzard took gold selling legit with the WoW Token.
Some players like to try to game the auction house to make gold by buying things for low prices and crafting them into more valuable things, or simply reselling them at higher prices. You can also use large amounts of gold to buy special luxury items like very expensive vendor mounts that carry portable auction houses and repair vendors. Sometimes you can find special mounts that were exclusive to the Warcraft collectible trading card game that was discontinued in 2013, though many of the most desirable ones, like the Spectral Tiger and the Giant Rooster, are very rarely sold on most servers, and go for the maximum price of 10 million gold.
Stormheim is the zone you want to start it. For some reason Legion treasures are not worth any experience like they are in WoD...except in Stormheim. I haven't been able to find out any reason for this, and it's possible it may get fixed/nerfed at a later date. But for the time being you REALLY want to jump from treasure to treasure to augment your quest experience.

Take breaks. Unless you're straight up no-lifing it over a weekend or something, this leveling process is going to take ~40 hours. But any time you do need to step away, log out. That tiny little bit of rested exp is insignificant...but you never know when something might come up and you'll have to leave for a longer period of time than you expected. Better to be logged out and safe(especially with War Mode on) than AFK waiting for a d/c. Plus, you'll need to stretch, eat, shower, and maybe sleep. XD
