I personally wouldn't recommend Bloodmyst Isle. There's a ton of quests but a lot of those quests have absolutely horrible drop rates on their items. A lot of the quest mobs also have very slow and/or spread out spawns so if there's other people there you're gonna be waiting for respawns or spending a lot of time traveling between spawn areas quite a bit. Overall it's just an incredibly slow zone as far as EXP goes.
Gold in WoW has value based on the time it takes a player to earn it. The various methods of farming gold, such as growing herbs, yield maybe 20,000 gold per hour. That means at a price of 100,000 gold, a token represents about five hours of grinding, or offers a wage of $3 per hour. The idea of gold being worth a certain amount per hour is a useful way of framing this discussion, in fact.

I hope this information helps a lot for players that haven’t had the chance to play Beta and gives you an idea of what you should be trying to accomplish your first 2 weeks of BFA. If you plan on pulling all-nighters, please don’t be reckless and over strain yourself. People have died from lack of sleep. If you want some tips on staying up I recommend taking a nap before launch time, eating a healthy meal full of protein before launch, snacking on fruit and nuts (my personal go to is clementine oranges and almonds) while leveling, if you do decide to drink energy drinks I do recommend not getting the ones packed with sugar (I prefer no sugar no carb Redbull and G-Fuel) and making sure you drink at least 2 bottles of water in between every energy drink so you stay hydrated and don’t crash. A good time to get some sleep is after you finish all the questing and you are 120 which again will take average played 10+ hours. Again, please don’t be stupid and end up hurting yourself over a video game; everyone must sleep at some point, so you won’t be too behind the curve.

Players have ever thought that Warfront are one of the most important and anticipated feature. Warfronts are a 20-man, PvE, large-scale cooperative mode meant to represent the large-scale war on the homefront, as members of each faction fight for control of a location critical to their war efforts. But now the Warfronts seem less worth players' attention.
Heirloom experience should be boosted, now that zones scale. If a zone scales along with me, it shouldn't matter if it gives me 20 levels instead of 10. I'm still enjoying the experience, even as a veteran player. I don't need to see every zone on every character again; that's the point of heirlooms. I can still enjoy the leveling experience, and the scaling, and the full outdoor experience of the zones -- and still get to the end game content I enjoy in a somewhat reasonable time as an employed adult. And the change wouldn't affect new players.

For future reference, it is a great option to purchase mounts and pets as a long-term investment. Not only do their prices scale well even when a new expansion drops, but there is always a demand for them. The only drawback to this strategy is you would need a hefty amount of initial wow gold investment and also maybe have to go through the motions of spending for a guild bank.
Fully rested experience (this is the blue color your experience bar takes instead of purple) grants 200% more experience per kill. Quest experience does not work the same as mob experience. Instead of just using the rested bonus, quest experience pushes the bar further upwards extending the rested bonus. Say if half your experience bar is blue. If you turn in 10 quests all at one the normal experience from them all could boost a character a full level. Unlike mobs where the experience gain will use up said bonus - the quests merely 'push' the bar further. Doing this could net you a level and still have the 200% bonus for mob kills applying to milk the rest bonus.
The leveling guides on my site are essentially speed leveling guides.  My leveling guides are the same guides I use myself to speedrun to 60 on new servers to get 60 server first.  I list many occasions where I tell the player to "die on purpose" to go faster.  I tell the player to skip certain quests, because some quests are just not worth the time/XP.  I list tricks and shortcuts to go faster so you can reach level 60 much quicker.  I am still constantly going through them over and over again perfecting the guides to make them faster and easier to follow.  For the most part, the guide can be followed without the need from other player's help, as the whole guide was made from a solo run anyways.  Although I do list quests that can optionally be done if you have a group.
Leveling in WoW is pretty linear and easy compared to most other Mmorpgs, and the in game quest mechanics makes the leveling process pretty fast. Our WoW Leveling Guide is the best and quickest free leveling guide for WoW. Just start in your race starting zone and make your way to new level appropriate zones as you level up. This guide won’t go in depth on exactly what quest to do when, but you really don’t need anything like that in WoW anymore. However it will take you through leveling all the way from level 1 to level 90. From Classic WoW, Through the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.
As Blizzard calls it stats were "squished," and now players are finding it harder to level with that same scaling system. It's a two-fold issue, and game director Ion Hazzikostas isn't quite sure how to fix it yet. In a massive forum post several days ago he plainly explains the issue from the start, noting that "the feel and pacing of the level-up experience is a top priority for the team."
Some quests in my guide are marked as "SKIP" and colored in red.  These quests are simply either too hard to solo or not worth the XP/time and are skipped.  My guide will only list SKIPPED quests if the quest is a direct follow up after completing a quest, not one that you have to click the NPC again to get it.  If you hover over the skipped quests, it will give info on why it is skipped in the guide (unless that info is already listed directly in the guide text).

And more people are buying gold with the expansion turnover; token prices fell from around 207,000 gold in mid-July to around 185,000 gold right before Battle for Azeroth launched. They’ve fallen to around 150,000 gold in the first few days of the expansion. That’s still five times as much as they were worth two years ago, but it’s a 25 percent drop from where they once were. Once characters reach the level cap, gameplay turns from leveling to the end-game. This represents the culmination of the leveling process and the beginning of the deeper challenges awaiting max-level characters. While play prior to this point is oriented around accumulating experience and gaining new skills, the end-game represents the polished 'final destination' for players, at which characters are fully developed and ready to tackle the biggest challenges in the game, or to relax and make their own adventure.


EXCEPTION: If you have Mining and only use Jewelcrafting to craft stone statues (for additional in-combat healing), then this may be a useful tradeskill. However, like Engineering above, it should not be a leveling focus and should only be used to assist with power leveling. Doing any more than this will become costly and should not be undertaken during the power-leveling process.

Allowing WoW Tokens to be used for Battle.net balance creates new demand for tokens. There are some players in WoW with lots of gold who have considerable excess even after paying for their subscriptions with tokens. There is a limit on the amount of subscription any player can use, and that amount of tokens doesn’t make a dent in the gold hoards held by some players. Now, assuming those players want to buy stuff in other Blizzard games, they have incentive to buy a lot more tokens.

The level cap represents the ultimate goal and culmination of the leveling process, with max-level characters having gained access to all class abilities and talents, and being able to access end-game content and equip the most powerful gear. By providing an equal limit for the progression of all characters, the level cap allows for competitive and balanced gameplay in both PvE and PvP.
“The biggest struggle of overhauls like item scaling is being able to exhaustively test it,” he said. “You can’t expect any group of a few hundred people to go in and hit every piece of content that’s ever been developed over the past 15 years of World of Warcraft. That is difficult and challenging to do. What we did was listen to a lot of feedback from the PTR, what those changes looked like there. “The community is a great resource for helping us understand what we missed, and we were able to develop technology to be agile about fixing the problems very quickly in a live environment when we did come across them. We did have a few hiccups when we launched the patch in terms of scaling issues, but a lot of those were addressed rather quickly and that’s due to the technology we’ve developed to hot-fix our servers and almost anything in the game without down-time.”

Many people have asked whether we recommend leveling as Enhancement or Elemental. There’s no definitive answer here; it depends entirely on your comfort, your gear options, and if you’re in a group or solo. Enhancement benefits more from Honor Talents in open world leveling, and Elemental has stronger AOE damage for mass pulling. Feel free to experiment with both specs.


For reference, my previous best time abusing Method-0 in 7.3.5 was 32.4 hours(as show in the old thread). A difference of just over 8 hours; which isn't all that bad, all things considered. And I believe I made several errors along the way, which could be cleaned up in future runs. I believe that that gap could be significantly closed by using a monk's bonus, but I hate playing monk...so...yeah. YMMV

Heirlooms are special pieces of armor that level up with your character, so they have stats that are always respectable for your character’s level (up to level 110). Heirlooms that fit the head, shoulder, chest, legs, and back armor slot offer an experience bonus. The total bonus is 45 percent if you have them all. It’s also possible to acquire a ring that adds another 5 percent, but you must win a fishing contest acquire it, and that can take some time.

If you want to spend as little time on your alt as possible - just do Legion Invasions. You can use sites like (https://wow.gameinfo.io/invasions) to track when the next invasion will be. Log in, fly to the closest world quest, and once there - right-click on the quest's name in your quest log and "Find Group". Sign up for some group, or if there's none - just start your own immediately, and people will come to you. It is 10 times faster to do invasion quests in a group. Once that particular quest is complete - leave the group, and fly to the next one, where you should find another group. Don't expect the group from one world quest to follow you to the next. Then you simply log out until next invasion. You can do 1-2 invasions a day, and each invasion will give you about a level or 1.5 of experience, if you have full heirloom gear. Each invasion will take about 20 minutes.
This level range opens a variety of zones from the Cataclysm expansion, which are spread across the game’s original continents, but it’s more efficient to head to the continent of Pandaria. You can spend the entirety of this level range exploring its uniquely themed zones and quests. The Jade Forest, Valley of the Four Winds, and Kun-Lai Summit are our picks, but all the zones are worth checking out.
I made one for my guildies but its for the Horde leveling process. One tip that goes for both factions is that you dont need to do all 3 zones to hit 120. I did like 1 and than three quarters of another. But once your 120 you need friendly with all 3 of your factions new reps to unlock world quests so make sure you hit at least friendly with all 3 while your leveling.
