Potions serve more utilitarian purposes, and it's up to you to decide whether to make use of them. The most common is the Swiftness Potion, which can provide you a handy boost in speed while going after annoying quest objectives indoors. These are generally MASSIVELY overpriced, because people know how useful they are. I opted not to spend the gold since Warriors are already fairly mobile, but slower classes may benefit greatly from these.
Fourth: When the enemy faction controls the Warfront, you get access to 11 quests that allows you to trade materials for AP and honorbound rep. This is huge because you get 750 AP per turn in and 500 rep per turn in which gives you a total of 8250 AP and 5500 rep; that is a massive amount. All the material you got from scrapping all your leveling gear will come in handy here and I imagine that you will be able to trade other players for different turn ins. I highly recommend trying your best to do all 11. Also, this will be a great opportunity to make some serious cash for your profession because people will be buying the same items in bulk.
Fishing requires much time and does not yield much profit until its later levels. Unless you enjoy it for its own sake, avoid seriously delving into fishing until your level limit. It is not a bad idea to do a little when starting out a new character on a new server, though - the gray items you fish up sell for good money to a starter, which can help you out with your other tradeskills.
Quite possibly the greatest source of information in regards to leveling I have seen for a new expansion. Bravo. Me and my friend are having a week long lan party at my house so we plan on leveling our mains to 120, doing all the week 1 shit and then starting at least another toon to get 120 as an alt (I personally am an altoholic, its bad, send help)
Once again, as soon as you hit 70 - I recommend to go and learn faster flying. This speeds up your questing A LOT, and is worth the time and gold. It will cost 4500 if you go to the capitol, or 5000 if you prefer Shattrath/Dalaran, because you will not have reputation with them at that point. This price will sadly be above what a totally new character can afford, if you don't have any Main. But you should go and buy flying as soon as you have enough money.
Fifth: World Quest are back and are still important for leveling your Heart of Azeroth and gaining rep. I do recommend you do these in Warmode for the additional bonuses but if you don’t like PvP I would at least suggest doing a clear of all the quest that don’t give AP in Normal mode then going back and clearing the ones that do give AP in Warmode for the bonus. Emissaries are back and work the same way though it is very important to hold off on any emissary quest that gives you gear until you are at least 310 item level. Once you hit 310 item level, the reward jumps to 340 loot instead of 325? (its somewhere around that area). Try to delay these the best you can, but don’t risk missing out on free loot.

There are also numerous gold-making guides available for World of Warcraft players. Currently mmobux recommends Killer Guides' World of Warcraft Gold Guide, which covers a broad range from daily quests and professions to making gold while leveling and auction house trading. 'Standard' farming spots are covered as well, making it an interesting resource for bots as well. Yielding up to 500 gold per hour, the strategies are suitable for players of all skill levels. If Killer Guides keeps the guide up to date, it probably will become a valuable resource for professional farmers as well. There also seems to be a German-language version available: WoW Gold Guide (German)
Fully rested experience (this is the blue color your experience bar takes instead of purple) grants 200% more experience per kill. Quest experience does not work the same as mob experience. Instead of just using the rested bonus, quest experience pushes the bar further upwards extending the rested bonus. Say if half your experience bar is blue. If you turn in 10 quests all at one the normal experience from them all could boost a character a full level. Unlike mobs where the experience gain will use up said bonus - the quests merely 'push' the bar further. Doing this could net you a level and still have the 200% bonus for mob kills applying to milk the rest bonus.
I highly recommend actually staying in the 20-60 range zones until you ding 62. The reason for this is that despite getting a slight penalty in experience for being over-level, the advantage of having flight will more than offset this. That, and WOTLK and TBC zones are the slowest part of the leveling process. Minimizing your time there as much as possible is worthwhile.
World of Warcraft is an MMORPG title released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2004. The game is another franchise of the popular Warcraft series which has received numerous awards. It is set in a fantasy world of Azeroth where gnomes, dwarves, elves, humans, orcs, undead and other monsters roam the virtual world. Players choose a race, class and profession to play and advance through the game. The game offers both PvE where players can play solo as well as PvP play which involves other players. There are 5 expansions to date, as follows: The Burning Crusade, released in Jan 2007, Wrath of the Lich King, released in Nov 2008, Cataclysm, released in Dec 2010, Mists of Pandaria, released in Sep 2012, and Warlords of Draenor, released in Nov 2014.
The Escalation patch has introduced several new scenarios with respective heroic modes that provide shiny new loot. It is still too early to predict which of these will demand the highest prices at the auction house or AH, since it can take weeks for players to work through the content and determine the value of the new drops compared to the existing items. Many expect the rarest and most prized drops to start commanding handsome prices starting June, so just keep your eyes peeled for popular WTB requests in general chat and high-selling items at the AH.
Tiragarde Sound and Stormsong Valley are both fairly similar zones, but Stormsong is a little longer, meaning that you might not even have to finish it to hit 120. Tiragarde also comes with a bit of a warning. There are plenty of side quests to do in the zone after you finish the story quests. Don’t do them. It’s not worth the time or the experience you’ll get.
The value of World of Warcraft gold has plunged relative to the value of real money in the past two years, but a series of events in the game have kept that fact from impacting the economy for players who don’t spend money on gold. That could be changing, however, and you might see some shocking prices in the auction house over the next several months if you’re playing Battle for Azeroth.
With 8.0, Blizzard introduced World of Warcraft’s second ever stat squish — where all the numbers in the game are lowered across the board for clarity. While it may make the game easier to read, it has caused some serious in-game problems. Since the patch, Blizzard has been throwing out hotfixes each day, fixing things that the stat squish either forgot to alter or simply broke.
While this income stream dried up when Legion came out in 2016, Draenor garrisons multiplied the total amount of gold in circulation many times. During the Mists of Pandaria expansion, you were rich if you had a few hundred thousand gold but, after Warlords, rich meant being a multimillionaire. However, the impact of this extra gold was blunted for a while, because WoW Tokens were redeemable only for more game time until February 2017, limiting how much gold rich players were willing to sell.
Arms is the best leveling spec for Warrior in Battle For Azeroth. Fury is a great single target spec, but lacks the AoE needed to compete with Arms. You will be striving to fight 2-3 enemies at a time for optimal results and Arms has the perfect spells and talents for the job. My tests have shown the average amount of mobs you will fight at once is around 2.3, which makes Sweeping Strikes amazing for leveling. Perhaps my favorite combination in the game is Avatar + Ravager + Sweeping Strikes. It slices down large packs of mobs in seconds.
World of Warcraft’s Legion expansion has been unleashed on the live servers and players are starting to arrive at The Broken Isles to plunder its untouched reserves of gold. Some are diving into the new dungeons and raids while others are undertaking the array of quests in the vast region. See how you, too, can gain immense amounts of gold in this exciting expansion.
Gold for riding training. Travel time is a SIGNIFICANT time sink while using quests to level. You don't want to wait to get it. In fact, while questing, the second you ding 40/60/70/80 you'll want to hearth and train it IMMEDIATELY! 10304 gold is the base cost, which will be modified by reputation. Also, make sure you're in a guild with the 10% riding speed bonus unless you're a class that already gets a mount-speed buff.
Take breaks. Unless you're straight up no-lifing it over a weekend or something, this leveling process is going to take ~40 hours. But any time you do need to step away, log out. That tiny little bit of rested exp is insignificant...but you never know when something might come up and you'll have to leave for a longer period of time than you expected. Better to be logged out and safe(especially with War Mode on) than AFK waiting for a d/c. Plus, you'll need to stretch, eat, shower, and maybe sleep. XD

A token was selling for 58,000 gold early that morning. The price had been hovering between 55,000 and 60,000 gold for a couple of months. By Tuesday morning, the price had rocketed to 115,000 gold. Gold-makers were panicking; the value of WoW gold relative to real money was in free fall. Players predicted tokens climbing to auction house prices as high as 200,000 gold.
A: The gold value of a Token will be determined dynamically based on supply and demand. When you put a Token up for sale, you’ll be quoted the amount of gold you’ll receive upon a successful sale. If you then decide to place the Token up for sale, that amount is locked in, and the gold will be sent to your mailbox after another player purchases your Token.
I used fully upgraded and enchanted heirlooms; missing only the fishing ring. Leveling from 1-20 took ~3 hours, at which point I immediately turned on War Mode for the duration. I rarely encountered enemy players, and when I did they almost always left me alone. But the few times I did get ganked, the total cost in time was insignificant. Maybe a total of 5 deaths from ganks in the entire 40 hours.
