Being able to kill a mage/rogue/warlock/pally in all BiS gear Soloing a high end dungeon boss like rivendare or dark master gandling. Leveling to 60 with no gear or weapons or pet of any kind. That is by far the most hardcore, life threatening thing you can do in vanilla wowHavell7 Nov 15

Nov 15 Why was it "easy" for Nost, but hard for Bliz During Blizzcon we were told how challenging (at least that's how it came off) it was for Blizzard to create a working version of Classic... but Nostalrius, with no ties to Blizzard, was able to make a relatively bug free version of Vanilla? When I say "bug free" I know there was "a lot" of issues, but nothing an entire team at Blizzard couldn't fix. Wouldn't it be less work?Goró64 Nov 15

15 Nov question about hunter So i saw this leveling guide for hunter in classic and it seems like u need some kind of addon to track ur auto shot. So my question is how did auto shot work back then? did u have to stand still to be able to shoot auto shots? and did like using arcane shot reset the timer of auto shot wich means if u are 1 sec from an auto shot but uses arcane instead u get new 3 sec (or whatever the wep speed is) before an auto shot is fired? thanksCirluica29 15 Nov
Before work began on World of Warcraft: Classic, it was only possible for players to experience the original World of Warcraft by using private servers, which are illegal, often have stability or corruption problems, and generally are very imperfect recreations of the authentic World of Warcraft experience. As much as Blizzard has been aware of the desires of their community, until recently it seemed impossible for them to emulate Classic servers due to the technical hurdles of essentially having to run two massively multiplayer online games side-by-side. A breakthrough was then achieved that made it possible to run Classic servers on the modern architecture of current World of Warcraft servers.
Nov 15 Looking Forward. So simple fun thread to see how you all think and feel. Name 1 thing you are definitely looking forward to, preferably not the obvious stuff but whatever go wild! I'll start with one. Professions aiding in immersion. Not sure if many noticed this but something I am excited about playing a hunter is the professions and how they aid in immersion for the hunter class so freaking well. All of the secondary profs help hunter immersion. Cooking, Fishing and First Aid all actually fueled the hunter lifestyle. Even though the guide was developed with a hunter, the guide can be followed by any class.  Except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot.  I do have full intention to make my guide friendly with all classes in the future by listing all of their steps as well.  There will be a toggle that allows you to show which class's steps you want to see in the guide.  But this is coming later.

This is partly due to the fact that Protection Warrior is the only viable Tank Class in WoW Vanilla Patch 1.12. Both the Proc Warrior and Priest are required for Raids and when combined in a PVP setting can be a fierce combo on the battlegrounds.
I had the privilege of traveling to Irvine, California to play before the beta started and talk to the folks at Blizzard behind the project. They told a story of learning, enthusiasm, and cautious optimism in regards to WoW Classic, perhaps best articulated by J. Allen Brack, the recently appointed President of Blizzard Entertainment. He’s a thirteen-year Blizzard veteran who, until recently, had been with the WoW team since vanilla.
14 Nov Some thoughts about sharding,loot-trading etc As stated in an earlier post (https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/17619571827), I didn't start playing the game until Jan./Feb. 2006, so my own experience with Vanilla is limited (compared to many others in the community). I do however want Classic to be as close to Vanilla as it can possibly be. (Disclaimer; I do admit I haven't gone too deep into all the topics, in regards to the implications of implementing such and such. These are just a random dude's thoughts about an upcoming revamp I'm really hyped about.) -Updated graphics and new models; I don't really have a problem with either. I think. I mean, it's not a deal-breaker for me, but I would prefer the old-school stuff. Currently playing on a potato, so I don't really know what updated graphics are anyways. :p -Sharding; no. Server-crashes (or login-queues) will always be preferable to sharding. Obviously nobody wants server-crashes or login-queues, but unlike sharding, it's not game-breaking. And besides, when the game comes out it will be 2019... are Blizzard saying they don't have the tech. to create sharding-free, non-hyperlaggy servers? I hear talks about how private servers manage to do it, so it will obviously be a non-issue for Blizzard to also do it... right? -Server-population; 3k-ish? Not sure tbh, but it should be (as with most other things) as close to Vanilla as possible. -Server-mergers; Don't really know how I feel about this, I just have more questions. Inevitably people will drop off, re-roll/switch servers etc., so what will happen with the "dead" servers? -Debuff-limit; 8 at launch. I don't really have an opinion on when 16 should be implemented, but it should be 8 at launch. -Loot-trading; a HUGE no-no! Not only was this not in Vanilla, this will 100% be abused. I can understand the point Frostadamus and others have made, that it could be used in raids but not dungeons, but there is no actual need for it to be implemented. -Progressive itemization; yes. This topic goes over my head, so I'll leave it up to the smart people to figure it out. But yes. -Content release; I like/agree with Esfand; ... -Classic being Classic; to borrow from a YT-comment (Michael Pate); "No one completed BWL unless they had completed MC. No one completed AQ40 who had not completed BWL. No one completed Naxx who had not completed AQ40." For some reason I see a lot of people who really hate this, that they can't just hit max level and jump right into a raid and expect to kill bosses. (You know, there are these pre-raid BiS-lists out there...) They also talk about tuning raids, balancing classes (and melee vs. casters) etc. I don't get it. This is supposed to be Classic, so the classes/roles will obviously not be balanced, nor should they be. Being out-healed by other classes, or out-dps'd? Yes, you will be. You personally may not top the meters, but the guild/raid will progress, and that's the point. Needing resistance-gear for specific encounters? Naturally (pun intended). Getting a fancy cloak to shield you from a terrible fire-breathing dragon? (points to you if you get the movie-reference) Definitely. Getting specific items in order to down a specific boss is a good thing, and in order to progress/complete a specific raid, you should have gathered enough gear/skill/experience from the previous raid(s). But if you are unable to leave your e-peen at the login-screen, you need to find a very hardcore raid(or pvp)guild, or I fear you will not enjoy Classic. Non-hardcore (and/or non-fanatical) guilds won't have a problem with hybrid specs joining their ranks, but all of this is subjective. Play the class/spec you want to play. If you hate tanking, don't play a tank. You should definitely try it out at some point, as with healing, but this is a game after all, it is supposed to be fun. So play the way you want to play, with people you want to play with, who has no problem with you playing the class/role you want to play. No matter your desire or playstyle, there will always be others out there who share your insanity/quirks. Great minds think alike and all that. :) I'm sure there are things I've forgotten to write about, misunderstood etc. Thankfully there are lots of more knowledgeable players out there who are also better at explaining why they think the way they think. Wait, /sit to trigger crits is p-server thing? I distinctly remember people saying that if you sit, you will be crit when I played 1.12 Vanilla. On top of that - there’s that pally that one shot Kazzak in early Vanilla because he stacked a shitload of reckoning when it didn’t have a limit - it’s not inconceivable that he did it without /sit to trigger crits, but it would take him so, SO long to do that without /sit.
This is the first faction exclusive class available only for the Alliance players. Paladins in World of Warcraft: Classic end-game were considered as one of the best single target healers around. However, other Paladin specs were not that popular. While Protection Paladins found their spot with tanking groups of mobs across the dungeons, Retribution Paladins weren’t very popular in the end-game. However, Paladins were amazing levelers and World PvP participants due to their amazing utility skills and ‘oh shit’ buttons such as Lay on Hands or Bubble.

There’s a whole list of websites that are trying to compile the working addons for the WoW Classic beta. The easiest one to parse through is Will It Classic. The site has a list of addons — including a search function — and has color-coded each one to signify whether or not it’s working on the beta client. Keep in mind that the client runs on the Legion API, so there are a few semi-current addons that work without any tweaking by their creators.

Since WoW Classic server has been announced at Blizzcon 2017, there is not much info about the server revealed. It is known that the upcoming expansion Battle for Azeroth pre-order has been available at blizzard shop, and the system requirements of Mac and Windows has been unveiled Recently, Forbes has an interview with J. Allen Brack and Jeremy Feasel about the project and some of the vision that developers have.
The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.

15 Nov DM solo. A necessary change I'm an advocate for as few changes as possible, however something HAVE to be done about DM solo farming. DM solo farming was not a huge issue in 2005, because few people knew, and took advantage of the possibility. In 2018, and come 2019, it's a HUGE problem. The DM solo farm is well known and documented, with guides, and if nothing is done it will spread like wildfire. We dont know what the server populations will be, but lets start a thought experiment here; A full server have 2500 people online Hunter is the 4th most played class, behind warrior, mage and rogue. Data from private servers show a stunning consistency that around 12% of all characters are hunters. 0,12*2500=300 hunters. 300 Hunters are online on a full server at all times. Not all of them are max level at all times, and not all of them would solo farm DM, lets say one third of them do. Thats 100 hunters making 100g per hour, most of that is from vendoring trash. In other words 10000 gold is added to the server economy every-hour OUT OF THIN AIR Its far worse than controlling the devilsaur leathers, because those have to be sold to other players. If there is 2 players on a server, each with one gold, player A sells a devilsaur leather for 1g to player B, the purchasing power between players have shifted, but the server economy is still 2gold. If change is not implemented in stopping hunters and mages from solo farming DM, the economy will be completely inflated in a matter of a few weeks.Apoxxit97 15 Nov
...but, in my experiences, I found dual wielding to be fine. But only if you're Fury. I found that having two weapon swings meant having twice as many chances to crit, which led to lots more Flurry procs. At level 50 with two blue 1h swords, my kill speed was just about the same as when I used an epic 2h axe. And I wasn't even specced into the offhand damage talent. If I got a good string of crits, I could smack mobs down in 15-20 seconds, and easily hit Bloodthirst every time it came off CD.

Nov 15 5 reasons I'm doubtful of WoW Classic I played WoW from patch 1.4 until Sunwell. And I'm not convinced on Classic. 1. I understand nostalgia for the gameplay, and it was a great game, by I don't get why people would want the old graphics when it looked outdated back then. Someone will level a warrior or rogue at snail pace and those 2004 boring graphics will reinforce his perception that the game is bad because it looks bad. 2. The lack of a second talent tree. This was the most demanded feature and I don't see people sticking with the game without it. 3. This has always been in the game, but weekly resets, I never got it, let people able to reset raids. Maybe have a 2 hours cooldown, but if a guild wants to farm a raid every night, or twice on a sunday, or farm the first 3 bosses of MC, let them. Gearing 40-60 people with weekly resets, in this day and age, good luck. 4. Dungeon finder, not sure people will like that, again bad decision. 5. The graphics, no seriously, this is bad on every level of game design, it just make the game look worse, a straight negative with no benefit.Pekuakami24 Nov 15

Recently the new essence received from PvP which gives you access to an extra PvP talent, that also works in PvE situations, has made waves and there are plenty of threads about it on the forums. One in particular got a blue response which clarified just how powerful and how relevant the essence is supposed to be for PvE-focused players. Each spec gets a specific PvP talent added and some of them currently selected on the PTR are a little too powerful and feel mandatory for PvE, such as Moonkin Aura for Boomkins and Leader of the Pack for Feral Druids, but Blizzard clarified it is not their intention to have must-have talents for PvE available through the essence, as its primary goal is to add additional choice for PvP players.
As I wrote in my preview, World of Warcraft Classic has much more to offer than just nostalgia. The world is filled to the brim with abstruse and challenging elements that coerce you to make and maintain relationships with other players if you want to succeed. As a result, I believe that WoW Classic’s MMO ecosystem offers an experience that can’t be found anywhere else in 2019. And, it would appear I’m not the only one who sees something special in the more-than-decade-old game. Just last week more than 100,000 viewers congregated in the chat of popular streamer “Asmongold” to watch him successfully fell Edwin Van Cleef in the classic Deadmines. A vindicating spectacle that would have been impossible to witness without Blizzard overcoming certain technical hurdles. 
Our old friend Quest Helper isn’t updated for the client, but there’s !Questie and MonkeyQuest to help you track available quests and their objectives. The biggest challenge to leveling up in the beta is searching for where the quest objectives are, so if you’re looking to hit the level 30 cap fast — or just the level 5 cap in today’s stress test — you’ll need one of these.
Always sell all items on Auction House. If you are not sure about its value, then check the market. There are some risks that item won’t be sold and you will lose money just putting it on Auction House. Good idea to make bank low level characters and keep everything there until the weekend. All sales increasing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Besides, you can advertise in a trade channel to inform people that an item you are selling has been put on Auction House. 

I think that the token is a nice solution for the problem. Back in the days, blizzard tryed to ban gold sellers, but it was a lost cause. Instead, the token seems to have resolved the problem, letting workers that want to raid with consumables and stuffs to have the golds to do it. Personally, I don't find the gold buying really fair, but I understand that for many people is a necessity and I prefer to leave the economy and the farming spots to the player instead to the gold sellers.
15 Nov Everything wrong in Demo - listed Dont worry cuz its just a demo. We only saw 4 levels and 2 zones. LOL. General Issues -Items with random attributes show stats from newer expansions (Ex. Critical strike rating) (items rarely had crit or hit rating, and it was always in % example ) - Damage number fonts and size is from WoD, the original was from Vanilla->MoP (The position of the damage as well as the "pop" of crits is different aswell. Also, the CT was changed slightly even during MOP. In MOP the crits were still "poppy", but they always showed up in a uniform line) - Sharding (they have already made a statement about sharding. But i still note it here) - Example of sharding problems - https://clips.twitch.tv/ChillyCrunchyBunnyPermaSmug - You can use meeting stones to summon people (added in tbc Patch 2.0.1 Source ) - You cant jump in water, you rise/swim when pressing space - Mob packs (ex. the defias camps on the mountain in Westfall) seems to be linked, so you cant pull 1 and run back, all 3 will follow forever, if 1 drops aggro they all reset (Not sure if this is blizzlike or not, Blizz would have to check the referance 1.12 client) The way you kite mobs in classic does not work in the demo, Probably a problem with the mob AI? - Cant abuse the walking animation to get a "moonwalk" Animation (would be sad to leave out such an iconic thing from the old engine) - Wand attacks cause you to face the target - You can use bnet to whisper members of the enemy faction - Might still be some problems where mobs spawn/error between the db/world. Reports of mobs spawning under the map - Mobs fanning is implemented incorrectly, they are walking backwards instead of turning around to adjust positions. - After using a flight path I was flagged as "player vs all" (like in gurubashi arena) and was able to attack players with the same bug - The graveyard at moonbrook, westfall doesn't have vultures. It should. - Rare mobs deals way less damage then they used too (hit like 25 some of them) - Chests has less green drops then they used too (40% of the time currently) - Spell Batching is not implemented because of the post cata engine. Big impact on PvP. - Kobolds at the Jangolode Mine in West fall, when low health and running away from you, run at much faster speed than even normal walking. They should walk away. - defias mobs in Jangolode mine (maybe other mobs as well?) Don't run back and attack again if they are low health and start running away from you. I think they should start attacking you again after ~8 seconds or so of running away - Corpses seem to despawn very quickly. I can kill a mob, loot it, and turn away and it'll be gone within 10 seconds. - Mobs sometimes spawn underneath terrain and glitch/evade--for example, hyenas sometimes spawned underneath hills near Centaur camps, and the Sludge Beast rare spawn near the Venture Co. tower in the Barrens would be stuck underground and evade combat. (Oddly, starting the nearby shredder escort quest caused it to suddenly become unstuck and teleport near the shredder, engaging in combat) - It seemed like mobs were dropping way too much money. I don't remember getting 30 copper per Westfall defias mob, but maybe the memory is just fuzzy. But I really shouldn't have had over a gold and be nearing 2 gold by level 16. So money drops, rewards, or vendor sell prices for items are way too high. Confirmed by old Client. - Farmer Saldean just dropped this line of dialogue on approach: "They might have run all the other farmers off, but the Saldean's will never leave Westfall." Nov 15 Can both versions be played at the same time? I would play a lot of classic wow in between the queue times in modern wow. I have to wait for queues for raids, wait for M+, wait for pvp queues, wait for mount respawns. During the demo, I had to decide if I wanted to test out the classic demo, or obtain new items on my modern characters. I would have played a lot more classic wow during my downtime in modern wow, but there was an issue where my modern wow account would be logged out of the game, if my classic wow account demo logged in. Pretty please, I would really like if the classic account did not log out the modern wow account and both could be logged in at the same time.Hunterhir8 Nov 15

Even though a modern server architecture is used, Classic servers won't have the same features that current World of Warcraft does. There won't be cross-realm servers or Looking For Raid and Dungeon Finder automatic party matchmaking. There are still a lot of questions about how the team will tackle it. This endeavor is being undertaken by an entirely separate team at Blizzard from the one working on World of Warcraft and its next expansion.[2]

14 Nov Maining two characters? I really can't decide between maining shaman or hunter. Is it possible to level both simultaneously? I'm not a huge fan of constant min/maxing, but I wonder if it is possible to utilize rested time in a really efficient way and not lose too much time, compared to leveling just one character at a time. I don't really have an opinion on when 16 should be implemented, but it should be 8 at launch. -Loot-trading; a HUGE no-no! Not only was this not in Vanilla, this will 100% be abused. I can understand the point Frostadamus and others have made, that it could be used in raids but not dungeons, but there is no actual need for it to be implemented. -Progressive itemization; yes. This topic goes over my head, so I'll leave it up to the smart people to figure it out. But yes. -Content release; I like/agree with Esfand; ... -Classic being Classic; to borrow from a YT-comment (Michael Pate); "No one completed BWL unless they had completed MC. No one completed AQ40 who had not completed BWL. No one completed Naxx who had not completed AQ40." For some reason I see a lot of people who really hate this, that they can't just hit max level and jump right into a raid and expect to kill bosses. (You know, there are these pre-raid BiS-lists out there...) They also talk about tuning raids, balancing classes (and melee vs. casters) etc. I don't get it. This is supposed to be Classic, so the classes/roles will obviously not be balanced, nor should they be. Being out-healed by other classes, or out-dps'd? Yes, you will be. You personally may not top the meters, but the guild/raid will progress, and that's the point. Needing resistance-gear for specific encounters? Naturally (pun intended). Getting a fancy cloak to shield you from a terrible fire-breathing dragon? (points to you if you get the movie-reference) Definitely. Getting specific items in order to down a specific boss is a good thing, and in order to progress/complete a specific raid, you should have gathered enough gear/skill/experience from the previous raid(s). But if you are unable to leave your e-peen at the login-screen, you need to find a very hardcore raid(or pvp)guild, or I fear you will not enjoy Classic. Non-hardcore (and/or non-fanatical) guilds won't have a problem with hybrid specs joining their ranks, but all of this is subjective. Play the class/spec you want to play. If you hate tanking, don't play a tank. You should definitely try it out at some point, as with healing, but this is a game after all, it is supposed to be fun. So play the way you want to play, with people you want to play with, who has no problem with you playing the class/role you want to play. No matter your desire or playstyle, there will always be others out there who share your insanity/quirks. Great minds think alike and all that. :) I'm sure there are things I've forgotten to write about, misunderstood etc. Thankfully there are lots of more knowledgeable players out there who are also better at explaining why they think the way they think. This option is better to use at level 40+. Higher level you are is better, more money you make then. All you do is farming dungeons or specific bosses. Here you kill a few birds with one stone: you get lots of experience (make sure you have all quests in your quest log, always ask your teammates to share) if you are still leveling; improve your current gear; and loads of loot (clothes, recipes, even crappy grey items selling for a lot to a vendor). If you are in a group, think about your groupmates if they need an item or not, don’t roll need on everything.
14 Nov Pserver mechanics So, like a bunch of people here, I played Vanilla on release. Quit after TBC, and only ever picked up the game again in the Pserver scene, which was cool, but I think there are a lot of misconceptions regarding things that work a certain way on private, and never did on live. I think it'd be good if we made a list of differences, to sort this out. 1. Sitting to trigger crit mechanics works on P, didn't on vanilla. 2. Frontstabbing is a thing on P, wasn't on vanilla (I think). 3. Melee DPS is always way higher on P. 4. Warrior charge has always behaved oddly on mangos core 5. The current trend in Pservers is getting 4-5 ony kills per lockout by having 35 people die and leave before the ki ll. Was this possible back then? And so on. One may think that the AH may suffer a reduction of competitivity, leading to higher prices, but in an healthy server the gold farmer's farm will be taken over by actual players. Giving the chance to a more fair gameplay where you can go out and farm the materials that you need, instead to see them always farmed by gold sellers that sell them to you, without letting you many room to make gold in a fair way.

I know there is a current wall of text somewhere regarding questions on almost every item with a spell damage effect and whether or not they will be granted coefficients from character gear grand spell damage. I noticed one in particular that was left out and wanted to reiterate my personal favorites. Shard of the Fallen Star: Originally benefited in part or completely 1:1 ratio from spell damage and was capable of critting. It was nerfed in patch 2.0 which is after classic wow content. In the spirit of keeping things as they were, do you think Blizzard will keep this mechanic or change it to a post nerf state which although is not classic wow maybe seen as a balanced fix. Weapon List: Hand of Ragnaros, Netzerek the Blood Drinker, Corrupted Ashbringer, Shadowstrike - all received 2:1 coefficent originally in classic. Beginning May 15, select WoW players will be invited to participate in a small-scale, focused closed beta test. Players will also get a chance to help put our servers and technology through their paces in a series of stress tests running from May through July—you can opt in now through Account Management and select the WoW Classic beta. This is the first faction exclusive class available only for the Alliance players. Paladins in World of Warcraft: Classic end-game were considered as one of the best single target healers around. However, other Paladin specs were not that popular. While Protection Paladins found their spot with tanking groups of mobs across the dungeons, Retribution Paladins weren’t very popular in the end-game. However, Paladins were amazing levelers and World PvP participants due to their amazing utility skills and ‘oh shit’ buttons such as Lay on Hands or Bubble.

Even though the guide was developed with a hunter, the guide can be followed by any class.  Except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot.  I do have full intention to make my guide friendly with all classes in the future by listing all of their steps as well.  There will be a toggle that allows you to show which class's steps you want to see in the guide.  But this is coming later.
It is a great advantage to start making some silver and your first gold coin at low levels already. Skinning is a nice choice here. Fast and easy way to gather resources, leather of all kinds while leveling for those who are at the race to level 60. There are many good spots to grind beast mobs and skin them. I like doing it as a Troll Hunter, trolls have a passive racial ability: + 5% bonus damage against beasts.
It was the first time in a decade that I wasn't gunning for the end game, pillaging the beta test to determine the fastest way to level and get to the "good stuff," and tweaking my add-ons to skip as much content as I could to get there. I even read a quest or two, though I admit to using the option (still available, even in vanilla) to turn off the line-by-line scrolling of quest text.

Nov 15 Dual Boxing in Classic I was seriously thinking about being a masochist and playing a paladin in classic but then I wondered if dual boxing will still be possible in classic with the change in engines running the game. I've never dual boxed so will have to research how it works. However, it hit me that I can dual box a warrior and a priest then transfer the priest to my main account at 60 so I will have the best tank and best healer in the game to play around with. Anyone else planning on doing this and have any good resources to start learning about it?Twiinkedd6 Nov 15
Note: My goal here was to create a comprehensive list of everything you'd need in order to learn to play any class (from Level 1 to Naxxramas)—meaning I am only including class-specific resources here (so no profession guides, general leveling guides, etc). Teeb's Resource list is much broader in scope, and I highly recommend you take advantage of it (as it contains a plethora of non-class specific resources as well). If you're not aware, Teeb is also responsible for the Race & Class Comparison Tool, Dungeon Tier Sets Gallery, and a huge variety of other insanely useful resources.
As many of you know, leveling a Warrior in Classic is not easy - it’s almost like playing the game on hard mode. Despite having low mobility, low sustain, and the highest gear dependance in the game, Warriors are by far the most played class in Vanilla. There is a sort of masochistic appeal to leveling the hardest class in the game. To some, this epic challenge provides the purest Vanilla experience, and watching an expert pilot this class with finesse is like watching an artist at work.
14 Nov Alternative to sharding? Both Tips out and Preach have suggested in videos a solution that may ensure a good launch experience, without the use of sharding. And i think they might be on to something! I tried to look it up on the forum to vote, but dint find any, so posting this. The idea is that Blizzard at launch can release multiple servers with the intent that at later stage merge them. e.g Sargeras 1 - _ Sargeras 2 - _ > Sargeras Sargeras 3 - I can see that sharding is practical, but it removes some immersion and might even be destructive to the community! Kaivax, a WoW forum community manager, revealed that WoW Classic's class design, battleground mechanics and stats on existing items will be set to their 1.12 state, despite the game releasing content that expands beyond that. This removes "progressive itemization," so if the stats on a specific piece of equipment was changed during the original updates, that won't take effect in this version.
If you’re into MMORPG games, you’ve probably heard that World of Warcraft is preparing to release a classic version of the game this summer. However, not many people have played in the real Classic and current in-game classes might seem completely unrecognizable to some. In the early days of World of Warcraft, the class choice was very important – leveling was super slow, which meant that you could get stuck with your character for months.
I think that the token is a nice solution for the problem. Back in the days, blizzard tryed to ban gold sellers, but it was a lost cause. Instead, the token seems to have resolved the problem, letting workers that want to raid with consumables and stuffs to have the golds to do it. Personally, I don't find the gold buying really fair, but I understand that for many people is a necessity and I prefer to leave the economy and the farming spots to the player instead to the gold sellers.

So, if you happen to have two good 1h weapons, and are Fury specced, don't be afraid to try out dual wielding. Some people swear by it, and I can see why. Getting miss/parry with 2h weapon is cancer, and having two weapon swings for two different chances at crit, can really help smooth out your damage and make it less random. If you're still skeptical, I'd suggest trying it out once you get Thrash Blade, or if you happen to have a Flurry Axe. With really sick 1h weapons, dual-wielding can definitely feel great.


First thing you should do is to learn the market for the specific item you would like to monopolize. Let’s say it is Kingsblood. We can see a stack of Kingsblood is selling for 1 gold. There are 10 stacks on Auction House. To control the market, you have to buy out all the lots of Kingsblood, even single ones. Next move is to make auctions of Kingsblood you have bought for the price you want. Be reasonable and make it 2 gold. But all people are still being used to the old price of 1 gold and will not buy your Kingsblood at first. You have to maintain your auctions for 2 gold all the time, no need to put all Kingsblood you have at once, 3-5 lots are enough at the beginning. You can see, other sellers may start create auctions for 2 gold as well. That’s what we need.  But if someone is selling for cheaper price, buy out their Kingsblood immediately. Soon people will start to accept your price of 2 gold as a regular price and will buy your stuff. Now you just to have to sell all Kingsblood you got. Control several markets. It can be anything, even twink blue items or items level 20-30 or 30-40. Same strategy works everywhere. It requires lots of time to track the markets and check auction house. It is not that easy as it may seem, you should spend at least a week of monitoring to be sure about prices, you will fail if you buy out everything at once without research. Soon or later, too many people will decide to sell your item as well. As they could see price change and think it had happened naturally. Market becomes overflooded. It is important to quit before the collapse. This always happens.

Most people who have spent years playing massively multiplayer online games will tell you that there's something special about the first one you played, too—and WoW was the first for many people. You can become so swept up in the uniqueness of your first experience that you overlook many flaws. It's likely many look at WoW Classic with rose-colored glasses, just as many simply forgot which features were added when. And some of today's WoW players may be too young to have even played vanilla WoW as it once was.


15 Nov 7.3.5 client - worst pick to begin with So on your panel you explained why you couldn't use the old Classic Client and told us why u basically needed to recreate the entire game with 7.3.5. This was the worst and main wrong choice to begin with and I guess u guys noticed that but it was to late to go back. Instead of starting the Megaproject to recreate the entire old game you should just have outsourced your servers and build a new, small customer support team to work with the old interface there. By this pretty cheap demo and panel we now see which "insane idea" (quoting you) route you picked. That was a pretty bad pick and beside Sharding,16 debuff slots, new forced animations/sounds into classic graphics toggle, wrong stats, wrong mobaggro range, wrong UI, emptying the world by summoning stones, wrong npc pathing on quests and all the other crap this is by far the worst change to Classic. We take all this "its just a demo" as granted and trust you to fix those things until Release even if time runs low for the enormous amount of fixes needed there till summer 2019. Okay but 7.3.5 brings an endless list with its engine and code which is not comparable. Rogues won't be able to abuse front backstabbing skills, the physics are fundamentall different, there won't be no animation cancels, the movement feels like legion not classic, melees won't have the expanded range they often used to due code bug, Mobs do backpeddale when u "push" them, tldr blablabla. https://www.reddit.com/r/classicwow/comments/9ubyr6/wow_classic_demo_feedback_bugs_and_legion/ In short when people say "this doesn't feel like classic somehow" they're exactly right, because it is not classic. Like with addons in the current game, you just need to drop any of these addons into the addons folder — find it under /Interface/AddOns/ in the Classic beta folder, which is in your World of Warcraft folder by default. Then once you log on to the game, you’ll want to make sure that the addons are enabled via the menu option on the character screen.
And for talent builds. I prefer to make my own talent builds. But I've been playing RPGs since the 8bit days so half the fun is building my own characters up. I already made and bookmarked 1 deep fire mage build, 2 elemental mage builds, and 2 deep frost mage builds. And I might remake them tomorrow if I read up on any good talent choices I left out my 1st 5 times lol. And I have multiple builds for the other classes I play too. 

Elemental: Lightning Lasso - Grips the target in lightning, stunning the target and dealing O2% of the target's maximum health in Nature damage over 5 sec. Can move while channeling. Enhancement: Ride the Lightning - If there are more than 2 enemies within 8 yards when you cast Stormstrike, you also cast a Chain Lightning on the target, dealing [ 50% of Spell Power ] Nature damage. Otherwise, you conjure bolts of lightning to up to 2 furthest enemies within 40 yards dealing [ 50% of Spell Power ] Nature damage. Restoration: Ancestral Gift - You become immune to Silence and Interrupt effects for 5 sec after using Spiritwalker's Grace. Warlock
Where to get materials and reagents you may ask? Buy for cheap off farmers in bulk or track Auction House lots. Get in touch with most big sellers. Communication is important here, send a whisper or write them a letter. It would be good for both of you to establish business relationships. Constant suppliers and buyers is convenient for both parties to save the time and effort.
