Before there was ingame WoW leveling guides, there was just eBook PDF leveling guides & what you paid for was the questing path.  As far asWoW leveling guides have come with fancy ingame user interfaces, the questing path is still the core.  Both WoW guides spend endless hours researching their questing path to find the fastest way to reach lvl cap.  It is pretty hard to deem one faster than the other as both produce extremely fast lvling times.  The reason I wanted to touch on this area is to confirm that both are really well planned and have seemingly very little difference.
Power leveling is the term used to describe the process of leveling a character as rapidly as possible with the least amount of play time. It can be used from any level up to level cap. Contrary to what many believe, efficient power leveling does not require endless hours of grinding. The best methods of power leveling involve doing many quests in an orderly fashion.

Essentially, someone who is power leveling wants their character’s level maxed ASAP so that they can move on to “end game”—gameplay intended to challenge max level players. This is an appealing practice for seasoned World of Warcraft players due to the fact that characters are required to reach level 100 to participate in a number of the more intriguing game play options. In addition to helping a player achieve max level more quickly, power leveling differs from traditional leveling due to its focus on boosting experience points through the use of special items, promotions, and gear. Also, while traditional leveling tends to be quest-heavy, power leveling often relies on running instances rather than simply moving from quest hub to quest hub. There are several different ways to power level, and many of them can be used in combination with others for a truly speedy leveling experience.
I've found the best way to level alts is Pet Battling over by Halfhill in Pandaria. My Nightborne Priest I got to 90 that way (the rest was WoD Treasures, then regular leveling post 100), my Mag'har Shaman I'm at 61 with 16 hours or so played. Having a second monitor to zone out and watch Netflix or whatever helps. I think it's the fastest way to get to 90 personally. I really dislike the leveling changes so I just Pet Battle now.

Usually it's best to avoid a lot of instance runs. It is too difficult to account for bad groups, and some instances are too far away with too few quests. Since the experience is very good, it's a good idea to clear nearby instances which have a lot of quests once (Gnomeregan, Deadmines for Alliance). Distant instances with few quests should be avoided (Deadmines for Horde). Low level instances can be cleared by paying or befriending a single high level character. However, since patch 3.3 a new Dungeon group finding system has been implemented, as well as a direct port to dungeons (when entering the group you get ported to the dungeon and back to the same location if you leave it) and thus the travel time to dungeons has been greatly reduced. This makes it a good idea to complete quests or grind while you wait for a group to become available.

Fury: Battle Trance - You go into a trance causing you to regenerate 3% of your health and generate 5 Rage every 3 sec for 18 sec after using Raging Blow twice in a row on a target. Feral: Leader of the Pack - While in Cat Form, you increase the melee and ranged critical chance of raid members within 40 yards by 5%. Leader of the Pack also causes affected targets to heal themselves for 4% of their maximum health when they critically hit with a melee or ranged attack. The healing effect cannot occur more than once every 6 sec. Guardian: Sharpened Claws - Maul increases the damage done by your Swipe and Thrash by 25% for 6 sec. I'd rather not have to manually re-do all the settings for all my addons in-game unless it's absolutely necessary (since I don't have memorized what the exact settings are I use, so I'd have to take screenshots of them all and then remake the settings to match the screenshots). So I'd rather get some more input about this problem before I try troubleshooting it that way.
